A few points from me on this
# He drops the teaser that he has just had a Beauty strategy update day with Lucy Gorman, the Head of Beauty. Given previous criticisms on lack of a strategy update why not share some of it with us. Generic even but with some general focus.
# I actually part get what he is saying about Director Buys. I don't know of any other company that has had over £41 Million pounds worth of Director Buys and which has had such little impact on the share price. Asos shares I seem to recall were going up good guns on only a few 10's of K shares purchased by their Directors whilst the THG share price was rose then fell and was made to tread water or it fell back further. So I probably get the viewpoint of why buy any more give this. BUT such purchases show confidence in the company and it's prospects and if *they^ won't buy then why should anyone else. I'm thinking of the days where we are struggling for any real buy volume at all. Instead then - why doesn't THG take advantage of the low share price and buy back their own shares. Use the present situation to our advantage. Or do we fear the same muted response again so why bother lining the pockets of a system which is working against you
# He also really needs to get back his focus on numbers. When it came to the cost of seperation he first mentioned a £10M cost which was then later revised to £15M. Unless I am mistaken then he has done exactly the same again here with the annual fees for an LSE listing. £10M he said initially. Now it is £15Million. Also John Gallemore and his wife bought 578,710 ordinary shares at £0.774117 per ordinary share each. Not the 400k he mentioned. That took 2 seconds to find. Accountants are normally pretty precise, especially with numbers, it's their day job. Is he feeling the pressure?
# Lastly a plus point, which is that he is showing and indeed stating that he does use reflective practice. So perhaps some of the replies on Linkedin might be starting to resonate, especially with the share price where it is. We can but hope.
