74.72 was on the 16th Jan after the Trading update and hitting guidance.

Mr Moulding seems to have been stunned into silence, or is he plotting something. That's no LInkedin posts for over 2 weeks now. His only showing in 2 weeks being an increased holdings RNS in KLSO.

Struggled to get to 1 million traded during market hours today despite a near 3.71% drop and most of it being spread related. Probably because we are now trading at less than a sole valuation for THG Ingenuity and two massive businesses thrown in for free.

CityAm published on city reform a while back incorporating Naked Shorting a while back and the market makers in this country can do it, do do it, and despite it having been suggested for reform the present Government has backed its continuance - in the interests of creating liquidity into the market.

Unfortunately large and unjustified swings in share prices completely run contrary to "orderly markets" and especially when any drops are not given back. Add in Hedge Fund shorts across the back and you soon get the picture why there are large disparities and valuation gaps in many company share prices. Hence why the Active Investor Market has sprung up.

Yes the market makers might get a quick fix of a high volume on the day day or two or three days after but the a few days after that unfortunately you get to the situation where a normals days trades trickles to a near halt. So it completely defeats the supposed liquidity you were supposedly trying to create. Here @THG yesterday it was struggling to get 500k shares traded at one point yesterday. Today itls not much better either and even despite an orchestrated 2 point drop. It reaches a point where people either know the underlying value and sit tight or simply # uck off elsewhere where the grass is greener.

Furthermore I suspect this is a primary reason for why UK Pension funds are not investing in the UK and can find more consistency and certainty elsewhere. Call it more orderly markets shall we. Same for yearly LSE trading volumes being down. They, II's and PI's are not on a trip to their local casino. It is also why so many companies are choosing not to list in the UK and others to relist elsewhere, or they get bought out by in the main a US predator who can see the value.

We are sat under what Apollo used as their base number to price Ingenuity ONLY in their takeover bid. "Significantly higher" than where we are now for THG Ingenuity alone. So you get Record Revenue THG Nutrition for free and a recovering THG Beauty also for free.

True value will get realised this year one way or another share price wise. I also believe that the same should happen market making wise for the continued decline in trades and companies listed will at some point result in one or more casualties in the City.

Tragically in all of this new and naive investors venture into the market thinking that everything is solely based on the principles of supply and demand. If only...

That was my point APH1. Somebody earlier was bemoaning the massive dilution since IPO and I was point out that if you compare the TVR's on 1/2/23 and 1/2/24 there has not been many at all and a good few of those have gone to deserving prizewinners for their effort and endeavour. There HAS NOT been any blanket awards like the 33Million+ that were doled out last year.

That lack of an award and dilution is for me a huge bonus this year as it would have been totally undeserving and rewarding failure. Not only should it be tied to the likes of department sales, revenue or other key performance indicators or the like, but it should also be allied to the share price and improving shareholder value.

The number of shares with votes added to them year on year has only gone up about 500k and 150k of that we know the recipients. The rest I can hack whatever the reason, but probably other prizewinners.

FCA's Disclosure Guidance and TRANSPARENCY Rules might help you understand why you cant just keep issuing shares for 3 or 4 years not tell anyone and lump them all together into an RNS as you were suggesting.

To be fair Jeremey Hunt hasn't been too bad and does seem to listen. I've liked his openness with consumer champion Martin Lewis and participation on his Money Show and he has been swayed by him re the Energy Price cap for instance, but his strings are imvho being pulled by Rishi Sunak. Ultimately though donations to the Conservative Party from vested interests will be what would holds back the real and meaningful changes required to completely transform the City for the better. Rachel Reeves on the other hand actually has an economics and BofE pedigree so I wouldn't write her off and maybe not a bad set of hands.

So many get into Ministerial positions that are never appropriately qualified for the roles in the first place and end up reliant on the Civil Servants that head their departments and on having to farm in paid advisors.

Denis's Shell hint of positive news in the last few days in support of the "Reservation of Capacity" was sufficient for me. Looks like it will definitely be happening so will be looking to add. High calibre Tier 1 client in my book and others will follow.

It's far better to be invested on successful completion of the drill to target depth and with the right signals and cues thereafter as opposed to blindly buying into oil drills before they have happened and with only say only 20% Chance of success and so much that can go wrong during the drill.

No. These awards would be annual and if you were changing the number of shares in issue and TVR you would have to notify.

So only about 500k extra shares last year with voting rights attached to them and 150k of those went to the 3 major prizewinners @50k equity each. Maybe some also for runners up and lesser category winners.

But year on year it doesn't look like any dilution with Performance bonus shares.

Make of it what you wish but for me I see it as a bonus. I'd have been pretty miffed to have had significant dilution with the share price where it is.

So over the last year there hasn't been any massive dilution.

Looking back at the RNS's it looks like they issue an RNS like this on the 1st February each year. Last year they issued it after a massive allocation of over 33 Million shares by way of a Performance bonus to staff via an RNS issued on the 26th January 23.

This years TVR RNS though hasn't been preceded by a Performance Bonus Shares announcement so as things stand it doesn't look like any performance bonus shares have been issued for the last year. If so its been minimal (We do know Prizewinners at the Xmas party got 50k Equity each in shares).

Kbyk, It's Fed interest rate decision tonight at 7p.m. and the UK's decison at Midday tomorrow. That might be the reason for the mallaise amongst retail shares or any general mallaise.

You're not wrong on the missed opportunities Hardwell. Here's an article from about 9 months ago and it was spurred on by Matt Moulding supposedly giving up on the "stiff upper lip" and on previously remaining silent no matter what was thrown at him. From memory it was prompted by Mother Moulding having written to The Times asking if they didn't have anything better to write about and after they had penned an article on Matt's Expresso fix. Ask yourself this

How many Linkedin posts and videos have we had since?

How many CityAM posts publicising all that is wrong with the LSE have we had since?

How many Bids have we turned down since the article?

How many frustration and hope options have we had touted over the years (Wrong to list, Seperation, MBO, Dubai, Nutrition Seperate Listing of THG Nutrition, Premium Listing etc)

How many Trading updates have we had also since?

Yet here we are some 6p above when the article was published (Closed at 61.6p on the day) and still no further forward on attaining true shareholder value and may I add - about 20p was wiped off the share price by THG's Iain Mac RNS and undoing what might actually have been deemed to be progress with the new approach.

The dearth of investors is in all probability speaking volumes for the lost opportunity cost of investing in THG as opposed to elsewhere.

I think you maybe need to watch the webcast presentation in full from start to finish. There an awful lot you are seemingly missing in your myopic viewpoint EoA.

Gtc that for me indicates that he doesn't have the backing of the II's that he thinks he has and that is why imvho he is having to increase his stake in Kelso - for he knows that they have the levers to disrupt and trigger change and that John Goold the CEO @ KLSO is capable of bringing about a shareholder vote or votes against Director re-election, the outcome would be uncertain for several, especially with the share price where it is.

Fortunately for me 3 silent investments a week or so back are now starting to pay off. ITM Power at just over 43p and up 26% this morning alone. Good Webcast presentation off them this morning. Another is moving up nicely with lots of news due and just waiting for the 3rd to gain traction, which it will.

THG needs to get it's house in order and again imvho it needs to make a decision and commit to it.

I think Openheimer that the Shell news is telling us that they Shell, have made their FID re the Rheinland plant and have now committed to the project in terms of investment.

Hence Dennis' comments that it was positive for ITM and the "Reservation of capacity" contract. I.e It 's in the bag.
