It’s highly probable roger. I have said all along that they would likely need to raise more cash as they have zero income and little cash left. I don’t see a deal before June, if there is one, and that is too late to raise more funds to keep the lights on.
The more I think about it, any deal will likely be a small upfront payment to keep them alive (say £10m) followed by milestone payments around successful trials. The trials would maybe get another £10m on startup then, if successful a larger payment on completion. I think funds will trickle in and the really money will come in 3-5 years once the drug is proven successful and becomes commercial.
The company has seriously mislead everyone up until now with those interviews and ambitious timelines. I repeat, this was all obvious from the changing tones through the 3 interviews, followed by the 2 desperation RNS’s.
Having said all of that, I am still hopeful of seeing the price treble by middle of 2026.
