RE: How is the Price of Immupharma's share calculated?8 Jan 2026 17:21
Very difficult I agree. I think what is important to note is not just the potential, which some are very overzealous on, but also the current state. We have a product that failed P3 trials and is awaiting patent approval. Of course still has potential but it is far from being a done deal in terms of a go to market product.
All the hype and crazy high valuations I guess are considering that this one day becomes a blockbuster and takes 50-100% market share. Now that is years away from now if everything falls in to place, which is possible.
I would tend to look at the reality of where we are and where the market sees things (that’ll be the share price). All the signs from the interview trend for me were negative and over hyped, the poor RNS’s (you don’t RNS a website upgrade, you just absolutely don’t) then the inevitable delay. So many contradictions from IMM that makes you realise this is not as plan sailing as many hoped.
Add to that the risk of pharma not taking on without P3, the risk / potential of a new placing to see them in to 2027. Of course the price is where it’s is and the lack of big shareholders interest is what it is. There has also been a lot of dumping of shares. This, for me, means be cautious.
I think a market cap of £100m is huge, but it also may be a starting point depending on the structure of a deal and timelines.
All will be revealed I think by June but, agree, it’s a lottery.
