September - deal or deals by end of the year. In one interview I think repeated 3 times and stated any time from ‘NOW’ until end of the year. So Tim implied that a deal could be done as early as first week of September. That clearly gives on the impression that they have a clean case and can expect a deal any time.
Delay time - Tim went to great lengths to explain how complex these deals are and how they take time. Commercial, technical etc. Well that is a completely different message to give to the market is it not ?
Once again, I am not implying anything, only stating facts around the change in demeanour, language , tone. This doesn’t sit comfortably with me but it may just have been over excitement. All eyes on the next few months.
