I popped a sell order in earlier for my recent top ups, core holding will stay for the long term but a 50% profit on last weeks trades if it goes through.

@juxta I think ongoing weakness is inevitable in the absence of news. There has been no decent volume for months really. IMM should seek to put out an update on the talks, I don’t see any reason that they cannot say talks are progressing positively, unless of course that is not the case. This is the million dollar question.

Maybe we will get a surprise. One positive is this board is a better place now.

Nice sudden change of direction. Looking very good for further rises, good to see everyone making a killing on this.

This type of deal is exactly what I worry about. Just over £60m up front under the umbrella of a £2bn deal. If we are able to get a deal done we need to hope that the board are able to secure a heavy weight to the front end payment. I still prefer to see a bid for the whole company.

@roger I don’t think there’s any moderation over weekends but you can’t argue that it has generally been a respectful days discussion. However we arrived at this point I’m sure every single genuine poster appreciates reading about IMM rather than 50+ vitriolic comments that are absolutely nothing to with IMM. No? You don’t know the detail on the current work over ops

You don’t know if they have started plans for the next well

You don’t know how often they have been to USA to discuss the GoA acquisition / partnership

You don’t know the extend of the DD and SPA details of a triparty agreement

You don’t know how much time being spent on the new finance deal given it also includes the GoA deal (logically).

So you can’t imply that they are doing nothing, other than running the company.

@Prof I don’t dispute your comment below. What I am saying is that they are not likely to put much value today on future ‘potential;’ income. What none of us can quantify is the % chance of P140 being a success. I believe the market will value the company at around cash value less a % for costs that will be consumed going forward. Of course once we know the terms of the milestones and royalties, we can then start to consider how much of that the market will price in. My opinion is that it wont be much especially as the lion’s share of it is likely to be related to sales targets and royalties which are many years away, and subject to many things - successful trials, issuing of patent, market share potential, market pricing, alternative options that may also come to market, market size change (5 years is a long time). This is why I am saying buyout is by far the best option. Can’t remember the fella that keeps saying £25, we can only dream. That’s £42.5m for me which would keep food on the table.

I believe the market, in arriving at the share price, will not only consider the upfront + milestones + royalties in the US but has to consider the potential income from the Rest of the World.

@Prof on your point below under what circumstances would there be a public bid and counterbid? This would only be in the event of a complete takeover which the masses believe will not happen. Tim has also repeated that any deal will be conventionally deal. As all parties are under NDA then nobody will know about deals until they are legally binding and announced to the market, hence there is no counter bid scenario.

They’ve stopped mentioning it mirasol but it is still on the table, otherwise they would have updated the market. Bear in mind they are a small senior leadership team now so will be taking time with everything they have going on at once. It all looks positive however.

Exactly @Bobsponge this is what the board should be like and what I’ve tried hard to reach. I sincerely hope that this is the only way forward now, discussing only IMM and respectfully.

@Professor1 ref the below point, what if P3 trials fail again ? That’s my point on excluding much of future potential when it depends on the product being a success, which it’s not yet.

2) As I understand from one of the interviews, Tim has already mentioned that we are not going back to P1, P2. All the data is there so we will be in P3 territory. Therefore, for the purposes of valuation, there is not going to be a speculation about the future amounts receivable but rather will be based on industry standard, size of the immune market and the number of indications on top of the diagnostics
