No nothing like that, Regal renting out screens for private parties of up to 20 people in some theatres stateside, a good way to help nullify the reduced numbers allowed in viewings.

Well that's my target (revised) reached and so I've sold up, what a ride since first investing 2 or so years ago to make a quick £500 quid when the price dipped below £3 for the first time! Still got some legs in this IMO with the FTSE100 re-entry at some point and the divi re-instatement, and with the new ways of working around the corner. Be interesting to see how the Full Year figures fall, personally we've had the busiest Jan-march I've ever had in the business, but whether that translates with the staffing costs? Personally think this has been a brilliant opportunity for the business to test the water on how it wants to transform going forward and once streamlined the profitability margins will be higher. Anyway GLA, solid investment, be back if the price dips!

Hi folks, not going to reach my 97p target today now, was planning on buying back in on the dip, it may take in the next day or so, however, the Johnson and Johnson 1 jab vaccine is vying for approval in the US on the 26th Feb. this Friday. , that could be quite significant and they are apparently ready to roll out in a week or so, this is after all a US driven business. Would be daft to miss out on bigger gains for a few hundred quid, hats off to the day traders today though.

Yeah the JandJ results really could be significant, it's the first one vacc immunity jab, also as an aside the terrible situation over the last month or so with high infection rates does have a positive flipside in terms of vacc approval, the other not yet approved vaccines have a greater resource to set their trials against.....more approvals incoming in the next month or so...GLA

Couldn't agree more 300,000+ getting a jab in the UK daily atm, but further role out of vacc. centres and announcement of 24hr vaccs. to come, it's all on the supply but we'll be doing half a million a day soon, link for world wide figs. GLA.

With my target price of 400p in sight, I'm considering revising my approach. Given that there is good news on the horizon, the deal being ratified, and subsequent implementation, the interim results (which surely will show a record turnover, despite sick leave effecting the bottom line) the continued surge in online shopping and the move towards automation. Is there any consensus that these factors are already priced in? Have all the other Posties on here noticed the significant increase in Special Delivery items in the last few weeks, seems the negative stories about delays is (maybe) having an effect on the increase of the premium product, GLA

My colleague had similar experience to SteveK where the nurse offered the vaccine to them as they were the carer for the person who they were chaperoning to the appointment. I accompanied my Mum last week for hers and it was a very slick operation, and yes WHUFC they did tell us which vaccine when we asked them, it was the PFIZER one. I am actually confident the govt or rather NHS will achieve there target by mid Feb, update tomoz on the numbers I believe. GLA

It's hit more than a 104 week high, the trajectory is obvious, the market conditions are excellent for the next quarter, unless you've got a preset price target the answer to that is a no-brainer. There is an overwhelming desire to get this over and done with in my DO (200+posties) there is no desire for strike action, despite the many grievances, the stomach for a fight and confidence in the Union is at an all time low, the protracted talks have fed this I believe, but from a cursory glance at the deal it doesn't seem that unreasonable, plenty of nuance in in the wording though so it leaves at lot of room for manoeuvre, no chance this won't get voted through.....gla and happy xmas

Never in my twelve tears have I seen it as busy as it has been in the last week, having a well needed day off, vans are not big enough, we are over double the amount of tracked items in comparison to this time last year in our DO. Stupidly I sold 4k shares when there was the jump up to 2.15 about a month or so ago, had intended to buy back on the fallback, that didn't happen, and nab a quick few hundred quid! Still holding a decent amount but gutted to miss out on a decent sum by trying to be clever, lesson learnt! GLA

Tenet is openly widely on Friday, and my local Cineworld has 20 showings on Friday. So any restrictions that will be in place may perhaps be negated by the increased viewing availability. So rather than having scarcely populated screens watching a film that has been out for a few months, all screens will presumably be pretty full, albeit on a 50% (or whatever the restrictions are basis). If this can overcome the short term difficulties in the next year or so , then, this surely provides a fantastic entry point for long term holders who will benfefit from an enhanced div yield (when the div returns). Apprecaite there probably aren't many l-term holders on here. GLA.

Morning, parcel volumes are still high in my DO, not as high as in the lockdown but still unseasonably high. Especially considering the amount of people that seem to be on holidays. I hardly ever take anything back but can't speak more generally. A respected colleague told me last week that the modernisation plans had accelerated due to the pandemic/back's departure, and have put us where we would have been in 5 years time. A whole office revision is underway based on PDA actuals at our DO, I would assume this is countrywide, although we are one of the First Phase DO's. Changes are afoot, although on a note of caution, I have heard that before, however I think they may mean it this time.
