Hi,

I’ve been here for just over a year, so not at the initial times when the plan was to go for the gold and then the Li. Could anyone that has been since the beginning let us know the reason for the change in the plans? Was the gold more difficult to mine than the Lithium? Was the initial development more expensive? What was the problem?

I would appreciate detailed answers (I am also able to speculate …)

A couple of days ago I asked how many shares SC still have…

I don’t expect a significant increase in the SP until they are completely out or stop selling at this rate, the good news are and will be diluted by them dumping more shares in the market IMO

In any case let’s enjoy today’s great news 🥳 a bit of more patience/ wait and we will see the SP where it should be

If Mali are waiting for price to recover, with the spod price going south this week, I wouldn’t be surprised of more delays and maybe get the permit towards the end of Q3, so September, IMO

It’s 2 week to start Q3, I don’t think he said we will start exporting the first week of Q3, so it could actually be at the end of July, o even later. The reason I point this out is so nobody gets nervous when we reach the second week of July and nothing happens, as it wouldn’t surprise me if there were more delays considering we are in Mali

I really hope we start exporting before the rainy season just in case, he said it wouldn’t affect, but just in case!

The news says “an individual or an organisation will be assigned to take over the mine and reopen it”. So, I wonder who would be in the best position to reopen the mine, any thoughts?

Could Kodal realistically have any chance?

We always focus on Li demand for batteries for EV because they are the main Li consumer. I know well the oil industry and greases and some oil also use Li and they are suffering the increase in Li price and the expectation is to get worse, so again in the long term Kodal should be in a great position.

Mannhole, I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes down to 0.26 before going up. It doesn’t bother me, if it dips that low I’ll be buying more and if doesn’t I have enough shares and I’m happy with what I’ve got

IMO it’s bad time in general, spod price low, gold going low (apart from a little bounce today) and the the article.

In any case I’m positive the SP will recover with the license and the first shipment, I’m not worry about these dips as I am not shorting

I just wonder if anyone of you know how stable is the spodumene under the conditions we store it in the bags in the pile? Would things like rain, heat, oxidation for being exposed to oxygen, etc affect the purity/quality of it?

In other words, can we store it in the stoke pile for long periods of time without the quality being affected?

I would appreciate your expertise as I don’t know the chemistry of the spodumene

I would love to disagree and think that will reach the previous max of almost 0.9, but who knows, only time will tell

Set a price and sell when it gets there, it might take longer than you wish, but it is what it is and until we start shipping I don’t expect the price to change significantly, just fluctuations depending on how much SC put in the market.
