Lorcun, I completely agree, until SC sell their shares I don’t expect a significant SP increase. I wish I am wrong, but to be honest I don’t personally expect a huge increase in the SP even after we load the first shipment to China, or the second, third, etc. I expect it to increase to high 0.3s and maybe the 0.4s, then SC will increase the sells, load the market and it will probably fluctuate at those levels until they finish.
My position is for long term (years), I hope SC will finish in less than 2 years and by then Bernard will announce the development of the gold fields and that is IMO what will make the SP go north. If Kodal was also keen on a reverse split and put the SP to a level that would catch the big investors attention ( like GGP just did at the beginning of the summer), that would be the icing on the cake to push the SP further.
I think Mali situation and all the rest of it can and do influence the SP, but in much lesser degree than SC, at the moment they pretty much have most of the control of the SP, depending on how much they load the market with and we only have they word that they will do it in a responsible manner. I am sorry but I don’t trust too much their word when we are talking about serious business. I genuinely think Kodal is a good long term investment, otherwise I wouldn’t be here, but at the moment I feel like we are at SC’s mercy when it comes to the SP and the sooner they are gone the better will be for us shareholders.
I would love to be wrong and the SP reach 0.8 or 1p by the end of the year, but seeing how this goes I rather keep my expections much lower than that and think in the long term instead when the share holders will not be desperate to sell like SC now but more interested in their investment instead, including the occasional shorters (and if I get bored of it I will sell part of the investment here and move it somewhere else, at the moment I am following closely Wishbone gold).
Obviously all of this is just my opinion, just thinking out loud.
