That is surprising as it seems like you have been here for a very very long time .... hmmm ... ;-).

If there's one thing the market hates it is uncertainty and so until clarity is provided I think the sp will be under pressure alas. Given the high stakes and costs on both sides the likelihood is an out of court settlement imo unless Zaza has irrefutable evidence, in which case he might go for the jugular and in that scenario it would be good if he did and the short term pain here would quickly become a lucrative history.

Duster: generally actions involve an amount to be claimed and then a load of statutory interest on top. So the base claim is probably a round number with the interest calculation making it seem precise ... bwtfdik

This is a serious amount of money to claim. Even if they ended up with 20% of it then it would surely have a positive effect on the sp. Anyone know how much Outrider has in terms of asset value? i.e. can they afford a significant chunk of recourse?

Chaz: that certainly won't help but imo our sp is purely driven by trades and there has been a sizeable sale (in terms of this current market) this morning, which may well be a pi bailing out.

Just skimming the articles that Starrage helpfully posted a link to, it appears that there are three classes of Directors requiring re-election at each AGM, each second AGM or each third AGM. So it depends what class of Director Hope is as to whether he will be up for re-election at this AGM. That is from me skimming the document as I am at work, it would be helpful if someone with more time and patience read it properly.

Dulwichman: I believe you are correct, but it is good governance for all Company Directors have to stand for re-election on a regular basis. I am not convinced that this is in statute but my recollection (often wrong) was that the recommended good governance was every three years. Hope(!)fully there will be a poster here who can provide clarity?

I wondered whether it was a negative reaction to Rainbow's constant ramping but he isn't around today so I guess he is exonerated ... well from blame for this, certainly not from incessant ramping.
