It is incredible how many obstacles have been put in our way over the years ... but we are still in the game and hopefully approaching the final whistle just in the lead: well played Zaza and SN :).

As a long term previous poster and reader on ii, I have always taken Symore's posts as a tad overenthusiastic and sometimes slightly awry of the facts. No disrespect intended. So it is good for mole to correct in this instance, but I suspect most readers are equally, or much more, discerning than me. No-one can fault Symore's enthusiasm or fail to respect his passion. Good on him!

Timster: yes it was a shit week as far as the sp is concerned. In conditions of such small volume the 5m sales have a marked effect on the sp.
But it was a good RNS showing Zaza continues to make steady progress doing the right things to get us to where we all want to be; so that is good reason to smile, irrespective of the current sp.

If you look at the trades the real spread is around 5-6 ticks, which isn't large for our shares in these volumes.

It may be that the Company has pro-actively got both the BH MOU and term sheet in place so that they have something to tell the market. They are clearly aware of the pressure the persistent selling is putting on the sp and so may have a strategy of sorting the above and putting out the tweets to do whatever they can to support the sp. I would suspect that having a higher sp (or at least one that isn't falling away too much) will be providing a helpful backdrop in the negotiations that are going on with the majors.

Gipps: well to be fair he has added an appropriate correction/clarification to your post.

Given that there is a strong chance in my opinion of an out of court settlement RNS on Monday, we may see a few traders going long today, so there is probably a good chance of a FRRally ... although that will mean 5m man will be licking his lips.

Seadoc: many thanks for your response: it was a serious question.
I am struggling to get my head around this so can I ask further please: in your case you say you have a downbet on FRR, so does this mean that your broker owns FRR shares and has lent them to you. You have then sold them and will then, when you believe it is appropriate, buy them back cheaper and return them to your broker, pocketing the difference?

Zubairs: Mole maybe an asset but an asset isn't worth anything until you can get it out of the ground ... and this one is in a hole. lol!

He just shares his opinions, which I know are widely appreciated.
It is up to readers on here whether they agree with them or not, but it is clear that Mole has much more in depth knowledge than the vast majority on here and clearly does immense research.

OTB: read the RNSs. None of us know more (obviously!).

I would be interested to hear what peeps think the shorters might do now. Their modus operandi seems to be to identify companies on AIM that they perceive as vulnerable, then short the stock, which they hope will send the sp into a death spiral such that it becomes untenable for the company to raise capital and so it goes bust and they take their riches on to their next victim.
We know they have been trying this with FRR. But yesterday's RNS surely must scupper their plans as the finance isn't dilution and secures the future of the business for a significant time. So presumably they will throw in the towel surely?
Which means they should be closing their shorts, by buying stock.
Is this oversimplistic? What do others think the shorters might do?

If you want to see what I was referring to you could have a look at his posting history ... although tbh it is mostly tosh but he does consistently talk about 10m buys after hours going to pop up. He is never right (alas).
