Those numbers don't add up - unless you deduct the stamp duty/commission HL charge upfront on the purchase. But you say £27631.01 was the reading Thursday night.. You may have not seen the actual numbers for looking, as they say.
Check up the "Transaction History" and open file for the full transaction costs. Other than that call HL Monday.

Yes, and that's £20,000 per tax year. Don't quote me but that may also apply to the proposed tax on dividends - I don't bother much about divis myself.

Back in profit here after dropping almost 5k buying SBRY by mistake . Gad I cut my losses there and was itching to trade EUA with this (tranche). Some profit taking by the looks of it today. So here I stay.

Think that's bad? Was going to buy MKS on Monday via Hargreaves - prior to that, idly tapped in (live) how many SBRY shares £115k would buy me - as they were up 15% I got the answer: 33629 and thought it's on its way down from now on. Instead of clicking cancel (like a hundred times before), inadvertanly went and pressed accept and was quite annoyed with myself as I only wanted that trance on MKS... and of course watched it tank from then until yesterday morning, when I sold the lot @ 327.897 a loss of £4828 thanks very much.

What can you do? Bought 61560 MKS yesterday @ 177.043 so up about £850 on this.
