As this seems to be the topic of the week...
As yet, we do not know the exact wording of the challenge from RM so it is difficult to say if their challenge is viable.
If the challenge is that union members were coerced into voting (either way) then would this stand up in court if you could prove that the general public were coerced into voting (either way) in a local or general election.
Lastly, there are 3 Unite members (managers) in my office that didn't get to vote on the pay rise because they didn't receive a ballot paper. My understanding is that every member has to receive a ballot paper otherwise it is void.
