All I am saying is that the CEO is always going to be open to accusations of abuse when the SP of his company nosedives and he is buying. Perhaps the rules should be changed to stop senior figures from buying shares in their own company but of course on the other hand it is good to see a CEO buying shares in his company when it is doing well?

It could of course be a pure coincidence but it's not the first time that he has "topped up" following an uninspiring update?

Charlie, unfortunately I think that you may well be correct in you assumptions. I say "unfortunately" because I think that the situation between CWU and RM is totally avoidable however both TP and RB are now unable to give up any ground on their position.
Personally, I would lock both of them in a room until they reach a legally binding agreement. This situation has gone on for far too long and the longer it goes on then the worse the situation will get.

Uncle_Doug, try making that 162,000 employees.

At around 7:30, I jokingly posted that the London Stock Exchange should rename this from RMG to WTF as the SP made no sense at all. I then added that it would probably drop by 20p on the basis that the trading update was roughly in line with expectations.

Kenny, this is the RMG share price we are talking about. It appears to work on a different type of logic to anything else. Usually negative logic....
