The Simec shareholding is part of the GFG Alliance Group as Graham mentioned they have nothing to do with SAE apart from being a shareholder and they certainly did not mention them selling any.

I would like to know what the deal is between SAE and Scottish enterprise regarding Mey Bess.

“The development rights in the project are held by Mey Energy Storage Limited, which is owned 84% by SAE and 16% by Scottish Enterprise.”

I did notice a large nato exercise is happening at the same dates and involves Pentland Firth not sure if that could be a reason .
