Im sure most ev,s wont suffer this problem,but check and see if tesla will warranty a battery with water damage/ingress?? and also online videos of salt water damage,the water dries out only for the salt to bridge out/short out the battery pack - fire.. also hyundai failed a battery pack as 12mm deformation to the caseing,10mm is there limit,they told the customer in canada that they must of run over something,probably a old car exhaust pipe,and this was now a write off,two seperate people are going to court as they were quoted $60k canadian dollers for a new battery pack,you tube video 1st minute time of 13mins and 16 seconds,just tap in hyundai battery cost in canada. both cars are effectively written off.

9 million shares sold in 2 mins,looks like someone thinking of prem shooting up.. will buy another 1 million today myself as dgi is a better bet long term its going to change many shareholders lives for the better,if salt takes over from lithium,the greens will also be very happy,cobolt etc mining has lots of downsides for the children doing the digging,ive sold all of my tobaco shares last year as promoting chewing the stuff in 3rd world countries isnt something i would want to be associated with,seeing people with parts of there mouths/gums/lips missing from doing so is not a pretty site.

A lot of car companys write off a damaged/wet battery as its too dangerous to take apart and repair,thus the £20k for a tesla battery( and water damage isnt even covered by his original warrenty!!!) and £28k for a hyundai inoic battery.

Just been watching a (tesla car world)new model " 2" youtube video for a cheap tesla @ $25k minus $7.5k tax credit = $17,500 for a cheap low range 170 to 190miles,,useing a sodium battery,looks like catl cells,in 2017 tesla tried sodium batterys with 90 to 150w/h per kg,, dgi are offering 200w with 220 to 250 in the near future,this looks like a good fit for dgi as this entry level pricing would appeal to second car familys for the school run etc where low range doesnt matter as the 6lt v8 petrol guzzler can step in for proper journeys,,, @ $1.50/$2 per gallon in usa. they then go on to mention it would cost about 10% of the original factory price to convert it to a sodium battery maker from a lithium production line.this would get over his problem of tesla,s stopping in canada when too cold as sodium works to minus 40 and plus 80 degrees . byd have a $1.4 billion factory for sodium batteries, bmw are planning a battery in 2025 with 280/ 300wh/kg a massive 46mm by 95mm cylindrical design.(at a high cost), tesla gets his tax credits when a product is made in america or use american materials,so the salt flats in utah are looking like a promising place... if sodium batteries are a lot cheaper than anything else i cant see a low cost ev car using anything else to power it,unless someone knows better? i still havnt found any negatives with this company and continue to accumulate many shares.
