Hbob. I can do some lovely Quran quotes, and the Hadiths too. I also have a few from the Torah. Not much between them really, actually stuff all once you dig deep.

Funnily enough you wont find many quotes in either of those dusty old tomes (without scholar) from females. I wonder why...oh, no, hang on....Did some just mention misogyny. On Mothers Day too.

Hbob. As you know I do love a religious or philosophical quote (there is a difference). This one too, is about silence.

A favourite of mine from St Paul, when he gave advice in Timothy 2:12. The saint says: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, she must be silent." One must allow some loss of translation as this is from the New Testament. Why did they have to have a New testament? Hmmmmm. I do ponder on such things. Oh, no, hang on....

Another lovely piece of relevant text, well it was just about relevant in the medieval times. Even then it was barbaric Most definitely not relevant now. The good old days hey? I always find in interesting how some quotes are cherry picked and others never mentioned or seemingly forgotten, the pages just ignored. How strange?

Hbob. Abstinence is not the answer. That is what they want. You are much better spoiling the paper BUT you must write on it. Write sonething like 'No appropriate or suitable candidate'. It is clearly not an error then and the spoiled papers are recorded. If enough are recorded then it will be collated and made public.

Nationalise the railways? Which part? Shall we nationalise the already nationalised rail track - Network rail is already publically owned. Or do you refer to the already heavily subsidised carriages? Now, here is the issue. Why should I subsidise someone elses journey to work? Shouldn't all people travelling to work be subsidised in your socialist utopia? I am sure my plumber would welcome some free fuel on his way to work. What about the factory worker who drives 70 miles on a round trip to get to work, shouldn't he/she/them be subsidised more than those that live in the leafy burrows of Surrey and commute into London? I am confused?
