I am less bothered about the placing right now than I was I was a month ago. I don't think a placing can be ruled out, but I don't think it will be for LP. Time will prove some of is dight and some of is wrong. MM knows he totally f'ed up with that last one. That was his Bergen moment x2. So, if LP runs sweet, then we should avoid a placing. However, hiccups and delays at LP may well lead to a cash call to bring other assets on line, or at least speed progress. MM wants to get this moving. I like the silence at the minute. Troajan. See my earlier post re AI. The Japanese are already all over this. The labour market is shrinking and will continue to do so. Yes, we have Eastern European nurses and scientist picking fruit because they earn more doing that here than skilled jobs at home. That is wrong. People will work but not when they are disincentivised by a ballooning welfare system that allows them to live on free money forever.

Although, all of my friends that voted remain would now vote leave as they have seen the EU to be the shysters they really are. Sadly, remain will want the best of 3, best of 5 and so on. K3, but at least we can steal cheap labour from other countries and destroy both economies at the same time. Our productivity goes down (remains static at best) because SME's have no need to invest in tech and product research as there is a constant stream of cheap foreign labour. This cheap foreign labour continually erodes our own labour market to the point that many are 'better off' on welfare payments. A whole of society has aspiration removed. The home nation of the cheap foreign labour loses its nurses, doctors, prime population reproducing youth etc and their economy fails to thrive. However, we get fresh strawberries in October and leeks. Oh, car washing is great too. Brilliant.

It does mention the words 'could' and 'may' a heck of a lot. As a scientist, facts are based on proven evidence, tried and tested. Facts do not appear in the same sentence as may and could. That vote is irrelevant, unless there is an extension to Article 50 then we leave no deal. If you think national sovereignty is worth a few mays and a couple of coulds then that is your choice. As a starter do take a look at how much our NHS pays out to EU hospitals as opposed to what comes back. So I am glad people won't get 'free'(laughs loudly because it isn't free and never has been) health care in Europe. Go on holiday, take out insurance. More expensive currency exchanges... or not. No evidence to support one more than the other. What if the pound flies in a few years, the latest data is not too bad for the UK. Deutsche and Commerz are truly in the poo. Struggling to hide it now they are. Ouch it will hurt the EU big if they go pop, and it loooks likely. Remainers will say the pound will collapse, much like they said the pound and our economy would colllapse the day after the vote if we voted fo leave. It didn't. The last time I checked the Spanish ship over 70% of their tomatoes to the UK. I look forward to seeing how long their present business model lasts when the fruit is rotting in Calais on the back of lorry. Remain means further integration. Remain means accepting the Euro. Remain means no control of borders. Remain means no need for a national parliament, local authorities can administer the dictats. Remain means more laws. Remain means being tied to one of the slowest economies in the world. It will always be slow with 27 members needing to agree. Remain means a slow intensification of problems with Russia. Crimea was just the tip of the iceberg, and the EU failed that test by Russia very very miserably. But, yes you get 'free ' health care and out of season tomatoes.

I saw the ballot paper. 17.4 million people did not see anything about a deal. It was in or out. It is that view, yours, as to why 17.4 million people voted leave (not other options provided). Arrogant, the 'we know best attitude'. The problem was not the Brexiters (useless toss pots) it was years of MPs and Brussels eroding democratic process. Please tell me what remain means? I know what leave means, but have yet to hear a remainer tell me what remain means. I have read a significant amount of the Lisbon treaty, it is horrific. So bad even the Irish said no, but guess what...the EU forced them to vote again. Oh, the Dutch too. If the Lisbon treaty was so good why did Gordan sign it after hours and via the back door. EU law is based on Napoleonic values, UK law is based on common law and reasonableness. That is why we cannot expect the EU to be reasonable. I voted leave not for the NHS (fooking mess), not for immigration (I like Europeans and consider myself Europeans), but because I believe in the Nation state and sovereignty. Actually immigration issues will not go away if we leave, far from it. I am educated up to my eye balls, but some seem to think I am ignorant...interesting. The EU washes money. Look at any old graph relating to global car manufacturing and the number of people employed over time. It is as simple as it gets. You aint seen nothing yet. Wait until AI kicks in, there will be little need for any shop floor workers. Not only is it coming, it is here. We need to stop propping up dinosaurs and get with the future. Otherwise we really are in the poop. Science, tech (inc AI), biological research, medicine, industry based around future problems and issues. Not the past. The internal combustion engine is drawing its final breaths in a dying age.
