Based on Winston Churchill’s “We Shall Fight on the Beaches” and the tragic chartist fall of Msuk

Dearly beloved degenerates,

Today we gather not to chart, but to chastise. Not to trend, but to transcend. For the squiggle cult has cracked, and its high priest—Msuk the Misguided—has finally conceded that news, not lines, moves the market.

Let us invoke the sacred words of Winston Churchill, who thundered:

“We shall go on to the end.

We shall fight on the forums,

We shall fight on the Telegrams,

We shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the RNS alerts,

We shall defend our portfolios, whatever the cost may be.

We shall never surrender.”

Unless, of course, you’re Msuk—who hath surrendered to reality with the grace of a damp spreadsheet.

my dearly beloved flock, distinguished visitors, and pilchard the dog—who has already barked twice and we’re not even at the reading—

today’s text comes from that well-known line of scripture:

“let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

now, stones being rather scarce in st. bibbly-on-the-bog—cyril thatchley having pocketed half of them over the years to “explain metaphors”—i propose a modern adaptation for our congregation:

“let he who is without sin cast the first chart.”

you see, my children, forgiveness is part of our calling. a noble and necessary thing. and so we try—truly try—to forgive others their failings.

nigel “the troll whisperer” ponsby reminded me this week that even the internet troll is a child of god.

he approached one online troublemaker, offering chamomile tea and a powerpoint about stamp collecting.

the troll blocked him immediately.

but then we come—reluctantly, prayerfully, and with a certain amount of indigestion—to the chartists.

mrs. beanbody, armed today with a fresh stack of diagrams about the hymn-singing tempo, has already whispered to me:

“reverend, i’ve charted the decline in your sermon punctuality.”

my children, i am a man of god.

i am a preacher of mercy.

but i will confess—before heaven and mrs. titmuss’s dog—that i am not without sin.

and yet even i will not cast the first chart.

because charts lead to meetings.

and meetings lead to more charts.

and that way lies spiritual ruin.

but perhaps—perhaps—the lord calls us to forgive even them.

after all, as brother quentin the wandering monk said last week before wandering off again:

and so, my flock, let us remember:

none of us is sinless.

not the trolls.

I agree with some of the posters here, that with the 'news' of this novel immunotherapy discovery by IMM, there is a level of - why isn't it 10x higher already - I too have that at the back of my mind, as we have already seen deals hitting the market with, some would say, inferior products or possibilities. When the statement of 50 additional condition cures was slipped into the equation I expected a huge surge - but that didn't happen.

WHAT ARE WE MISSING HERE ???

I am not being pessimistic just want to understand why an opportunity like this is being held back ??

Colenal - I would hedge on the confident card - as I don't know anyone who got rich flushing money away :)

I say that with experience having just realised how much a structure deck is going to cost !!

Along with stays, fixings, bolts, resin, paint, brass holds & cleats, varnish the list goes on - the only thing we haven't got yet is a name - our resident 15 year old excpert daughter of Andeas ( knickname Archimedes ) has already decided it is going to be named Eustathios - I'm not so sure :(

Auto allocation has merged with my main investment and is tradeable on AJbell.

Good morning All, I got mine but can't trade them yet - should trigger in on Monday @ 8.00 a.m. i guess - nice bonus along with automatic allocation, very glad to have invested earlier in the year here - it makes up for a couple of disasters on other stocks !!

The SP is strong though and if it does kick in Monday it should look even better :)

I'm with FFX on the dates / timings - it could be end of next week or latest week after - but it looks very positive.
