I don�t really understand what benefits there are (with share consolidation or splitting) other than making SXX shares cost about the same as their peers. IR

@BHarris A share split would increase the number of shares but market cap would remain the same. It usually happens when a share is much more expensive relative to its peers. OR

Sirius have enough money to last to the middle of next year. I would guess that if Stage 2 wasn�t in the bag by December there could be an impact on progress as contracts could not be signed for further work beyond that funded by Stage 1. OR

I agree (re paid for reports). However, if QUOD wish to maintain their reputation as an independent assessor, they must ensure their reports hold up to a reasonable degree of scrutiny. They must remain impartial regardless of who picks up the bill. OR

It�s always good to take your initial stake out. Then, all your shares are effectively free. You could use the money released to buy some shares in Sirius. Hmmm.... OR

2021 is the target for first polyhalite. Meaningful production may come a little later. OR

I think it will be like most AGMs. A time to report the progress made and milestones met or missed. To provide optimism for the future. It is a necessary evil and usually serve little purpose. But it is a time to meet face to face. It is more of a social event than anything meaningful. It will not get the mine built any sooner. Maybe a day later. Any interesting news will be released to the market in the normal manner. Have a great day out. I will aim to attend next year or in 2020. OR

At the behest of nobody. It was always known about, always on the project plan and is being done now because the route of the tunnel is known so it can only be done now. OR

If I want some income from my shares in 2021 I�ll either enjoy the dividends or sell a few shares. How the income is derived doesn�t matter to me. I�ll be 58 (in 2021) and I expect my spending needs will not change much from now. But I might waste some on a new car and business class flight because the alternative is to pass on to my children to waste. OR

That makes great sense and would explain why Sirius were less than clear when asked if the shaft at Lockwood Beck would still be used. There answer was along the lines of �It remains an option. Likewise for Ladycross and Tocketts Lythe. OR

Myosotis 2 x TBMs would save costs but unlikely imho. However, it might explain why TBM No 1 was scheduled to start first. Sirius can assess the speed of the tunnelling and decide if reducing to 2 x TBMs is worth the risk. OR

My guess is that HMG want Sirius to take on some of the former steel works, including any required clean-up. This could be a sweetener for the Treasury guarantee. I trust th3 BOD to act in the best interests of shareholders. OR

If the announcements are made before the AGM (via RNS) then they won�t be NEW announcements at the AGM. There is a small chance of a new offtake being announced within the next week. My guess is that potential offtake partners are fully aware that Sirius need to secure a deal ahead of Stage 2 so will be playing hardball over the terms of any such agreement. Sirius do not have a strong negotiating hand until Stage 2 is secured. OR
