It’s the same raw material. Sirius buy polysulphate from ICL for their crop trials.

The difference is in the way the raw material is crushed and granulated. But it’s all from the same seam.

Using both ports there would be capacity for 30mtpa but the tunnel and the mine are being designed for 20mtpa.

Often, and most likely in this case, any slippage is out of the control of Sirius. Anyone who has ever bought a house knows that there are many things outside of our control that can delay completion. I have twice bought houses for cash with no survey requirement. The first took 3 weeks and the second took almost 3 months. Different solicitors, different times of year.

But as Tony says, the mine continues to be built. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Building.

In six weeks time we’ll hopefully be able to say that first polyahalite is planned for the year after next.

I’d love to be alive in 20 years time. With so many friends passing away in their mid 50s I know not to take anything for granted.

At 30p per share (for dividends) I’d receive 3 x my best salary when I worked. 1p or 2p per share would be sufficient to satisfy me that my investment was worthwhile.

D walling must be just about complete at Woodsmith. Anyone know how many tonnes of concrete have been poured? Yorkshire is a bit heavier now. :)

The way the vote was taken it seemed clear to me that a vote in favour of the mine wasn’t in as much doubt as the result may suggest. Only when we crossed the winning line did the voters begin to vote against.

I think the partner would be Gina. £400 million in return for a modest number of shares and a %age of future product.

What we (as shareholders) would like and what is achievable are two different things. But I think the $3 billion will be raised at around 7% interest. We can hope that HMG need a good news story and provide a substantial guarantee.

Darn that autocorrect

Until all contracts are signed, the company only ever had a provisional budget. A best guess. A wet (well-informed) finger in the air.

Now that we have almost all of the costs known with contracts signed by our suppliers, so we have a firm budget. It is only this budget that matters going forward. I think it looks fairly robust. A small sum for additional risk and all we need is for Sirius to ensure the contractors deliver. I’m confident that CF and compare well placed to deliver.

I understand the negative comments. I understand casapinos (who understands the stock market far better than me). I just hope that my modest investment (of less than 250k shares) brings a smile to my face in 5 or 10 years time. If not, sorry kids, I tried :) (but they’ll be alright anyway).
