I know our new Chief must not lose out by this appointment. Hence the RNS, but let us hope he earns it by making some good decisions in due course and breathes new life in the SP. We are a huge ship and it takes a long time (and some bravery)to change direction.

You may well be right and an outright bid could be the outcome. The reaction so far has been underwhelming and it does seem to show inexperience on the part of Ms Zohar. Now I am in I intend to stay the course. You may well be correct about the other spun off companies but I suspect one or more could well ultimately be successful and it only needs one at a time!

I would prefer to hear that we get a prettysmall dividend but a policy to continue paying incremental regular dividends wherever possible -Plus a one-off special of, perhaps 15p. This would strengthen the co going forward.

Should be 31st March and my worried digging reveals Alexcor is a Gov't owned outfit, which has apparently had Gupta dealings from which I believe thy were hoodwinked, so if we hear anything from the officials there I shall be surprised and relieved. At least we hopefully have not long to continue this agony!

Bought a few more even though these are making me losses at present SP. Didn't cost a lot and with them getting a bit of interest, they might have now hit bottom (although my hunch is another 'pump 'n' dump)
