My dad was a very strong and principled man, I remember holding his “shovel of a hand” as he was on his death bed..

He was fighting it big time, i leaned across and said to him, dad you have done your bit, you have brought us boys up and we are all OK it’s time for you to go and find mother now…as the last word came out of my mouth, he stopped breathing ..

It’s my belief he did just that, went to find old mum, so perhaps liz is back with Phil listing to all his funny gaffs again… who knows!

My old chap was born in 1924, so the same era as queen Elizebeth and prince Philip, they were made better in them days …

Let’s be honest the interest rate is not going to go up high enough to quell this inflation, at least not any time soon? How will the uk service it’s own debt if it did? I have read 18% inflation is on the cards, and that’s not the real inflation rate, that will be much higher..?

Very hard times ahead, possibly the worst since the end of ww2, but at least comparable to the early 70’s ?

Then you have the BRICS nations not wanting to accept western currency, biggest wealth transfer in our lifetime coming soon, imo ..they are not putting up with the west buying goods and services with worthless heavily printed fiat.

Why is China, Russia and India buying so much gold? Plenty of other countries doing the same?

Gold is now a tier one asset… why?
