RE: Taking the day off today..26 Oct 2022 21:24
Great day great company and “POSITIVE” news..
We all behaved like children, and the wig went down well :)
So the great news is, when Sue saw her consultant and the consultant said we will be stopping chemo, Sue took that to mean “nothing more we can do, game over”(this is the news I received) however after getting her to ring up and ask more questions, they said no she has responded well, and she will be closely monitored, should they need to revisit chemo/ other, they will..
She was told that she is still terminal and that she unfortunately is likely to eventually end up with increasing pain, but for now enjoy living a life without chemotherapy…
I pointed out we are all terminal, she said she is a woman and she will deal with it when it comes, why worry about it now… Positive thinking
Sue and Fred are currently looking at cruses, Fred is planning on taking her to buy a new wardrobe of clothes..
Guilders, thanks for the heads up on the CBD oil..
We need KIND cancer drugs, Sue does not fear passing but the pain side of things are her main concern, I think..
There but for the grace of god go i, and all that..
OB
PS, Metom, you we’re a lucky mascot today, and you probably don’t know it…“get well soon”… loved it! She did kinda :)
