I think we are in for a mini “fake boom” as people will want a good spend up after a long lockdown, however I can see it being short lived..

When all the furlough and free money comes to an end we will get to see the true state of our economy, then comes the depression! :(

Grace, I have been very busy at work! The BBQ went well thanks :)

The ankle is a lot better, but still swollen and a tad painful, apparently it could take up to a year to fully heal? But It’s not bad enough to keep me off my feet.

The kids are round tomorrow for a BBQ so I’m looking forward to that :)

I’m glad work is going well for you, like yourself we have missed a couple of holidays now, we have rebooked Greece for next year, (just wish it was a one way ticket, lol) so fingers crossed that will be ok, where are you thinking of going in the uk? We do live in a beautiful country really...

As for basil 3, seems like lots of countries are quietly loading up on gold also gold has now been reclassified as a tier 1 asset by banks??? Hmmmm.

We are told inflation is around 2% but real inflation is more like 9%, so what’s the point of having money in the bank ? Plus I think we are headed for digitised currency, we are bound to get some form of a raw deal if/when that happens, IMO

Personally I think you’re doing the right thing with your “purchases” (thumbs up).
