Though I have been invested 10 years, I have not been seriously invested until the last couple of years.

A couple of weeks before my dad passed away, he gave my brothers and I, 1 k each, so on a recommendation of a work colleague I invested said 1k into Val, then after pops passed away I simply forgot about it.

After a few years I had a look on line to see how the shares were doing (about £300 ish) I then simply forgot about them again.

A couple of years ago ish I had another look and they had sunk to around £10 ish, I could here the old man taking the p155 from his grave :)

So I started actually doing a bit of research and I decided to put a fair lump in! after Suzy came on board I lumped more and more into Val.... I personally think she seems very honest

The best things come to those that wait, so they say?

3-4p a year ago 20p today, and we have an IAR and a few conkers for entertainment.

My son works nights in traffic management on very good money! He’s all down hearted at the moment and wants to jack it in...

He’s 23 and has just purchased his first house, he’s willing to throw it all away....

I’m with Halifax and I had to do that last year with some other shares, lucky for me the spread was very small, that cannot be said here though...

Have you spoken to them on the phone to see if they can do anything about the spread?

Anyone else have any ideas?
