Forgive me for not participating in the “noise” here very often…

However there are a few great posters here, that I very much respect :)

My average is fairly high at around £1.89 ish yet even at 80 ish pence I never once worried, this has 2 ways of travel, and IMO represents a very good risk vs reward…

I / we have only invested what the wife and I are comfortable with! North or south I’m not going to be in trouble, as it was a joint decision (thumbs up) so this is an easy “comfortable” investment for me…

I wish everyone (even the reckless) the very best of luck..

Im slowly accumulating Dmtr while it’s off the boil, I’m not sure how low we are going before a bounce? So buying little and often I should get a good average, well that’s the plan…. If elsewhere comes to fruition I will load up heavily here…

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen called on Congress to raise the debt limit, warning that the Treasury Department is on track to run out of cash and exhaust its "extraordinary" measures in October.

If the debt ceiling is not raised, U.S. could be looking at payments default, Yellen said in a letter to Congress on Wednesday.

"Once all available measures and cash on hand are fully exhausted, the United States of America would be unable to meet its obligations for the first time in our history," she wrote. "The Treasury Department is not able to provide a specific estimate of how long the extraordinary measures will last. However, based on our best and most recent information, the most likely outcome is that cash and extraordinary measures will be exhausted during the month of October."

All good here thanks, being only around 12 miles from your neck of the woods I can concur we live in a lovely area…

We are plagued with tractors ATM

Perhaps if all goes well we could frequent that pub with the lump of wood outside, we could even invite our northern friends ;)
