Nowt in RNS about that. Methinks we are going to be sold for a song, probably to Kemet.

......The Put on the Index works about a week in arrears, so expect the shares to continue upward first few days of this week anyway. Thinking of getting out to hold it in cash and pump in over the course of this dip. Cannot do that with any others, because they are big losers.

With market as it is now, I don't think I will rush into deciding whether to chuck my hand in. The question is :P
Will we do as well or better by taking the cash as at May (or even later) or holding these through the Corvid 19 (assuming we live through it). That is not an easy one to call, so will wait until 2nd week of April. It still concerns me that they will not have cover to maintain divis from bank shares or property cos.Since I hold a wide portfolio still, this is not my only headache right now, but it will need a decision.

I am grateful to you because you made me suspicious about averaging down again here. IN SPITE of this, I decided when I tried to buy today and could not do so online that the ridiculously high % spread today and unwillingness of MMs to trade within this spread might well mean they know that this SP is, or is close to, the bottom - or the ID of the big buyer hoovering them. So i went on the blower and paid the premium to buy at 5.50p. This is still under half last year's NAV and there are clearly many exciting unquoted investments here close to being listed. Of course I may not have timed it perfectly but you made me think harder.

Fair point jasehem. May go for the old cherry - a token dividend with hint of more to come. I still think the next 'big thing' here will be on the takeover front but who knows?

I also took a few HUR and after today's figures av'd down there. They both look reasonable bets if we can steer clear of the plague!

I have been averaging down a bit on a few others which are swamped and actually have assets, and stuck a few low Limit Bids on for tomorrow just in case the step down bear pattern continues. Got an interest here but cannot justify to myself buying more with this element of risk. I know 'safe' cos can get wiped out in this but I am playing a risky game anyway.
Next month if this continues and my Premium Bonds don't win, they'll get cashed too to keep buying 'cheap' ""quality"" shares and ITs in the hope I live long enough to sell into the Recovery. The best laid plans eh!

Just lodged a Limit Buy. Last time they were this cheap they were not the huge and varied outfit they now are.

Not in Saudi's best interests to depress oil price too long. History shows that market riggers always fail in the long term. If they really believed they could be rich forever on their oil, why did they want to float Saudi Aramco so desperately? HUR is now cashed up and hopefully will either survive the squeeze or be bid for. Took some more just now!

Went xd today so in I went in again, this time at 90p. And within the very hour the Annual Heavy crashed through m letter box. Had a quick read (!) and no great shocks. Cannot see this going bust in the present plague. If it does, then not much hope for any large or small property co. Won't be a smooth ride though!
