All us LTHs wondering when the shopping villages buyer will invoke the 'force majeure' clause. Never mind. If we've got any cash left, I am sure we'll all be filling our boots up at two bob each after that!
Because, of course, the good old British public(or those of us who survive) will (eventually) be rushing out to the stores to spend what's lefth (hm) and hob-nob for all we're worth!!!

I agree we are worth vastly more than present SP and glad I topped up recently. The drag is the lag. Whilst all our holdings are private, the market gives little recognition of true value. Nevertheless, one day this will 'leap'!

Some of their other interests should have progressed. May be worth their while telling us. Also occurs to me that a cheap bid might be coming.

Even now a dabble will net you a yield well over 8% - and they could continue the policy of upping the div!

This is my first year as a shareholder so I have ploughed through much of the AR. They are pretty big and well connected in vaccines and I would not be at all surprised if they are not involved in either the invention or at least production of one for this lurgy in early course. I am getting some fallow money out of banks and this stock is a candidate for a top-up in due course.

If they are around break-even as they have indicated in the past, then this SP is ten times too cheap. Since I think things like that are heavily leaked in places like South America, my gut tells me further losses are known and more or less in the price - but I shall be delighted to be proved wrong! Think I'll just have a coffee and hope.

I'm no 'oily' but in present circumstances, I think the very best we can expect is a nominal interim. This is a very prudent board and they know there will be more opportunities to come to spend their cash pile on income-producing assets. In fact, I would count a significant dividend from this company in this climate as a negative, implying that shareholders have a better use (or greater need!) than the co.

Whatever resource they have is unaffected. Sad but just sentiment.

Its a morbid truth that many of these annuities they now pay will cease to be payable thanks to the lurgy. If this is so LGEN will be a big earner from this horrible situation.

I doubt whether the price of oil will be lower by the time we find it (if we do) and the likelihood is that it could be substantially higher. I agree with other posters here that there is a case for averaging at some point.

Thinking of staying put on theory of 'Better the Devil you know' and if large numbers accept the Tender, will not be viable and will probably liquidate anyway.

Could be coming as a cheap way for Bots Gov't to get some value out of their holding. Hope not.
