And Ojay calls the MMs "invisible men" (not that we wouldn't see the results of their manipulations - but because we don't understand what it is they're doing and whether they are allowed to do it).

investor33: There must be a set of rules which the MMs must abide by - even if such regulation allows them to do what we all believe and fear. Where are those rules?

investor33: I guess it's finally time for me to read the rules which govern the MMs conduct on AIM. I've never taken the time to do so. If what you say is true then the MMs are not only the "go-betweens" but are also authorized to trade. To me it looks like they are doing so (how, what and to which extent I don't know). The market maker's role would appear to be in a conflict of interest if it would be authorized to trade at the same.
Beyond that: Trading means investing. Investing means taking risks. How would that work?

although I find your contributions display at least some degree of entertainment value I also notice that your popularity on this bb is continously dwindling. You will defo have to work on that. I don't - that's for sure. This all doesn't make sense - unless of course the market would fall for the "placing scare" which (supposedly) should happen shortly. As PM has multiple other funding options I chose not to believe so. But AIM investors are very sensitive to this issue; and that may be working. Ultimately nobody knows what is going on behind the scenes. Although a placing at this time makes no sense, the frightened shareholders would rather sell now than experience the effect of a hypothetical placing. It's a sad story based on market emotion.
The good news is: PM's SP will be soaring once all the nincompoops understand what is going on. That is - more or less - in line with what Manro just posted a short while ago.

Your 100 shares holding is hardly of any interest - nice try to justify your deramping with it.

D/H: I am struggling to take you seriously: "massive", "obvious", "long cold dark Mongolian winter", "may come back next spring" etc. etc. - those are words of a deramper if I've ever heard any. I assume you feel comfortable with that role.

Sorry to say Capt'n that your stance towards PM has changed dramatically since you bailed out. I have nothing against taking profits when an investor considers the time has come in accordance with his investment strategy. But your opinions have obviously made a 180° change of direction lately.
Is there anything positive you can contribute to PM's current (and obviously great) situation?

My thoughts (and hopes) go in the exact same direction.

Majorboy: I guess many of us were expecting a more positive outcome of today's trading day. I was of the opinion that profits would have been - more or less - fully taken yesterday by the below 5p share purchasers. Looks like I was wrong. Could be that some sellers have not even realized a profit at this SP level. My guess is that there are plenty of potential seller out there willing to sell at a SP well below 10p. You just can't expect investors to have a middle to long term view on their PM investment.

nobody mentioned the fact that MB was able to keep a tight lid on Heron's results. Don't forget: PM's SP declined even on the day before the good news arrived. If that is PM's standard practice going forward I must congratulate MB - this cannot be achieved without enormous efforts.

Disagree. At this time I can't see why. For future funding - which will depend on PM's operational program - there are multiple options available. A placing wouldn't strike me as the best one.

N/H: Why don't you just point out what it is in the RNS that you think stinks? You appear to have a problem making your point. What is your problem and what is your issue?
Are you looking for weak points in the RNS? Then good luck finding and reasoning them.
Needless to say that you come across as another one of those clowns trying to make PM look bad; what a bad idea on a day like this!
