I was just going to say that even from a chart and momentum perspective the shift is higher - the SP is trending higher and the rns’ issued clearly indicate that the bond holders are happy to allow the board time to engineer a suitable fix for the finances. The board need to demonstrate they have navigated through the worse and will come out stronger financially. The current market cap is exactly that what the market thinks the business is worth, but I like others feel that this will rerate and head higher.

Shorts closing out repeated 21,087 buys going through at 18p

The Astari fund recorded a 0.53% drop in shorts on Friday (just showing up now) it would explain the larger trades that were worked late Friday afternoon. With a further extension reported yesterday, which has been supported by what appears to be the same 47% of bond holders to roll their unpaid coupon a further month one could fairly assume this group believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel. As a holder it looks like Petrofac’s board have tabled a strategy that should see all come out a lot better than many have reported. Hell even the most pessimistic writers for the Motley Fool is suggesting this is a hold and recovery play. I can’t help but think someone is doing their due diligence before tabling an offer in the background alongside the board deleveraging by selling non core assets. The longer this runs the more chance money starts coming into the coffers from contracts that are completing and milestone payments on new bids that have been awarded - we are all acutely aware that PFC have experienced their best pipeline of work since the company’s inception. The tide is certainly turning in my view and a purchase sub 30p in a few months will look like a steal. Just look at Rolls Royce it was 70 odd pence a little over 18 months ago and it’s almost 7 times that figure now.

I have Ben watching here closely and decided to get onboard yesterday, from a technical point this appears to be set for a steady climb - looking for 11-13p

I think there is more chance of an advance payment or completed project seeing funds released. The flip side is the potential of a bidder still going through due diligence
