Trouble is once you assume pipe two will be a copy of river pipe it is hard to keep the numbers down as the sp is way too low for what we have. Should be more like 5p right now then the leap to 40p seems more sensible. Doesn’t alter the maths though!

Diamonds are brought to the earths surface by eruptions from deep down in the earths core.
The incidence of the necessary geological conditions for the pipe to be diamondiferous is key here and this is why they keep in n banging on about identical geology to either side of TR.
This is what, given what we know so far, has sort of clinched this potential for me. That and the cactus bird. LoL
Who wants a little more detail on why there is an extremely high chance that pipe 2 has diamonds as well, which will guarantee commerciality and sent the sp much much higher.
Might as well get this discussion out in the open.

Sugarbird at 0.5Ha is marginally larger than Marsfontein (0.4).

Call me imaginative bit I find the picture on JC’s Twitter intriguing to say the least. On the 23 April he posted a pic of a bird shaped cactus , close to the current d site, saying isn’t nature magnificent.

It sure would be if the second pipe at Thorny River enlarged the kimberlite footprint to 0.5Ha which is approx double the current size. At which point the resource is 4m tonnes at 150 cpht and $200 per ct.
4m divide 100 times 150 gives a $ value of 1.2bn or £870m. If we end up with 40% that will be a very large payday indeed!

My calculation if the second pipe comes in the same size as river is close to 20p were they to sell the whole thing on. Just river is still commercial and would be worth a little less than half at 9p

Yes very interesting to see all the new Thorny River detail which has been added by JC. Reminds me a lot of Rockfire with subtle background Twitter detail, website updating etc but no official communication from the company. The market is being primed for what is to come. Which IMO is a second larger pipe.

500,000 and 1,000,000 trades both marked as sells, as every single trade is similarly marked and the 50,000 was a small top up by me the mm are trying to slow things down a bit.
Looking at the recent vids on Twitter one thing is for sure and this is that if they do recover ANY diamonds we will see it in the sp first. It would be near impossible to prevent the drillers operating the rig (there were 4 I think) from spilling the beans. It is just a fact of life IMO.

If the second pipe contains similar concentrations then it will be a case of tripling up iMovie

If the first pipe is worth 5p to 7p a share the second larger pipe could be worth an additional 7p to 8p for a top of the range total of 12p to 15p a share.
Once people clock on to what’s going on down at Thorny River it will be 2p very quickly. Drill results on size of second pipe should be in around a months time. Old Mr T recently said the typical payout from initial investment on a successful diamond mine is 6 times. The furthest back I can go is to 2011 when it appears to have floated at 5p although initial venture capital investors could have started at 2p odd. This one could be a real winner. The real deal after a 10 year wait.(Not that I have been waiting that long, more like 19 weeks in my case.

I was thinking of the XK36 diamond discovery which is excluded from the JV there and remains 100% BOD opened.

As far as I am aware TR was excluded from the JV.

I have been pondering the pipe situation and the sudden change in plan with the extra drilling.
There is a good chance there is a second large pipe at Thorny river and this may well mean we are closer to the source than previously thought. This could be very big indeed

If Tiger is correct this is not the larger bore drill out programme expected to start in the dry season a second phase of exploration drilling as it seems they have found some more kimberlite pipe.

TBTT just topped up at a very reasonable 0.875p for 100,000 shares but MM are late reporting the trade as it hasn’t yet appeared on trades. Will be interesting to see if they hold it for one hour or the whole day.

True on the small sample being not statistically significant, however what are the chances of finding 11 good diamonds with such narrow drill. Bodes extremely well for wider confirmation.
