The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I think what you mean is that GL is not just a gob****e waffling lies and trickery. From what I can see Graham is working hard to successfully get the groundwork in order to carry this company forward, and if he should fail it won't be for want of trying. To compare the man with that scumbag Parsons is an insult.
I saw this tipped and looked to buy it, but £1-11p per share price to buy, with a declared net asset value of only 11p per share, and earnings of less than 6p per share, in my opinion its well over priced.
This is becoming a very long and grinding road, the jam is always tomorrow. The board seem to be making hard work of everything.
This share pays a decent divi and the Company has a net asset value of over 50p a share. It is just readjusting its strategy with new planting programmes and processing. When it all comes together this share price will look very cheap.
Preliminary results on 6th February, hope they point in the right direction.
ON THIS SHARE IS NOTHING SHORT OF EXTORTION! I am all in favour of making a profit but the Brokers are having a laugh on this one.
I seriously thought of buying in here and had a look at what this disease is about, they say high winds enable it to get into the leaves it can be sprayed with some proprietory copper solutions but it is expensive to treat, and success is certainly not guaranteed, also some bad infections as in Florida require the plantation to be torn up bunched into a heap and burned. While it looks like the company has good long term prospects, this is a dodgy situation for them, and with nature being what it is in this part of the World anything can happen.
What's going on here? I just bought 200,000 at 13.26 for 4.6 pence, it has gone through as a sell.
