...........prediction markets............(i mentioned it before bloomberg below!)..............primarily US-based (at the moment)..............the company feels like it's pivoting to America (whether by design or chance/opportunity)...............anyone else thinking 'if it's doing £40 here, imagine what it would be if it switched to Nasdaq'?

I do wonder about that! (maybe they're still staring at the screen, stunned at how badly that trade turned out, unable to press the 'close my shambolic position' button......).........It feels like years ago we were wondering if it would actually ever breach £20............we got up to that line a number of times, before falling back.........but never quite breached it............and yet look at the share price now........raced through £41. Just imagine if they move to the Nasdaq............how do you spell 'supercharged'?

There's an article in the Telegraph yesterday - about Goldman Sachs getting into that market (literally entitled 'Goldman Sachs traders eye push into gambling on prediction markets'). There's fee income or a margins there that Plus can exploit imo.

I think them acting for the prediction markets (about to explode here in Britain too once they're launched) will also help things. Next couple of years is going to be interesting. I'm overweight in this now............but I'm not selling. I first bought in at 2.25 and I've been in and out of it (was on the wrong side of some of the nasty surprise RNS's 5-10 years ago, particularly the one where it nearly got to £20...........and then crashed (relatively speaking). Anyhoo. Here we are. I've no plans to sell - think the dividend is well covered too

And so it came to pass................this disappointing company set new lows and fails to hit them. .............

It's hit the £36 target with comparative ease. Perhaps £40 is the next resistant figure?

Pray for a takeover.....if I could just get a third of my investment out I'd be pleased now. V disappointed not to see an RNS this morning. I suppose there's still time (I've not looked to see if the mkt is open on the 29th and 30th dec) technically but from an investor's point of view today would be the final day of the year really to expect an update. It's a natural break now til 5th Jan.

Yeah .........or contract wins or something that they were 'confident' of achieving...........praying they come through on this. I'd just like to get my money out of this now and into something else. I'm so under water I need the world's largest scuba tank to keep me alive.......

It's now or never imo................tomorrow - we need a positive RNS.

11 working days til xmas. 11 working days to seemingly pull something, anything, out of the bag. Praying that Santa and his busy elves have seen fit to help ACRM pull a good contract out of the sleigh, wrapped in wonderfully pungent wrapping paper (with lines on the inside to help you cut straight no-less) lovingly tied off with a colourful (long-term contract) bow and carefully dropped down our collective investor chimneys...........or.............is it going to be akin to one of my myopic aunty's efforts, a pair of nylon socks wrapped in someone else's cast-off wrapping paper, flying sellotape, your name spelt wrong on the card and frayed edges......?

It's the hope that kills you.

Or it's the precursor to buying a business in that space, having dipped their toe in, so to speak.

I thought we'd rise off the back of the CMC news yesterday (excellent results based on their API business doing well) and then the buy recommendation from Bank of America would propel this.............perhaps it will with the American market waking................

But what we really need is them to announce the move to New York - it'll prompt a re-rate imo............

KCR's share price has been as high as 11p...........but it's another stagnant share (totally controlled by Torchlight). KCR were v v close to the previous owners (before Drumz) - Energiser plc whom in turn was linked to Inland Homes. Dominic White one of the key directors that kept on popping up across Inland Homes/KCR/Energiser.

Interesting timing though - the land and investment market is absolutely the worst it's been for a generation - the Conservatives started the rot but Labour have totally finished it off since they got into power..........perhaps it's a sale now because they feel it's fair value at this point in time and for the foreseeable? Or perhaps that £160,000 is desperately needed to keep the lights on at Acuity. I suspect it's the lights on scenario. There are green shoots in the land and investment market imo.

A couple of years ago the KCR investment was seen as a bit of drag/millstone. Now it's their saviour potentially.......

Philip j Milton act for alot of clients whom seek interesting investments (where they feel there's a significant chance the market has missed something). They have a large holding in GRIO (another share I'm following but on grio, not invested in.....yet) too. GRIO's market is full of danger - from govt trying to ban the very essence of what GRIO do, to down valuations, lack of interest in the product from the wider market (they've not been able to sell an of the portfolios they've had in the mkt - or at least, they've not announced any sales........which is pretty much the same thing).........but there's value in that company if they can just get the costs of admin down and get rid of the material uncertainty clause in the accounts (to do with building safety regulator/cladding issues - which grio aren't liable for anyway imo).

I wonder what they know (or think they know) that we don't? Or perhaps it's just timing. They've bought into the CEO and his promise to be cash postive by the end of the year and the share price is right (at under 1p that they are pretty much invested in here). I'm in at 8p......so ............literally a miracle is needed for me. Perhaps others will do better from this abortionate situation.

It's going to need another cash injection imo. How that goes will depend on these next 3 months, as you say JPJPJP. They need to land a big one, just to prove that their product continues to be relevant and in demand.

I'm still hoping that something will be published afterwards? Long shot though............just miserable (but stuck) to be in this.

They're going to look a bit silly if they're 'pleased' to announce no material uplift or positivity within the business.........so here's hoping the wording of the invite translates into good news on the day. Mind you............they've chosen September 11th........I'm hoping that date and it's connotations has nothing to do with the announcement/presentation.........

Sadly, I've got a deep sense of foreboding on this. I've stayed loyal to this share............when perhaps I should have just got out, at a loss, when I could. No material RNS positive RNS update, paying invoices with shares........it's just a bit desperate really.

........to stop the ridiculous speculation. People writing for writing's sake - no basis in foundation. We need a factual RNS; nothing else matters.
