National instrument 43-101 has very strict regulations on disclosure by mining companies.... I'm actually very surprised that NM hasn't had his recent presentations altered because of his reference to doubling of MRE.... this is not factual information and will probably have the regulator a little upset... a lot of this is crossing the 't's' and dotting the 'i's'" to appease the regulator.

Here's how I see it playing out...... 70p takover offer..... second party comes in with 85p offer........and we eventually get taken out at 1.50..... there's my prediction.... GLTA

I think we are finally at the point where any positive drilling results will now affect the SP..... that would be nice!!!

If I was a betting man I would bet this happens before US elections.... I think the elections will lead to a friendlier (no tariffs) stance and that in turn should send copper to a much higher level...

earthling... my point is that NM's number on what Cascabel is worth is far greater than the market cap of SOLG in its entirety. Shareholders will sell their shares at a way lower number than what NM would. Not all shareholders but a great number. BHP would pay less and own much more.

I think trying to buy Cascabel via ENSA would be way to expensive. Why would they want to negotiate with NM?? His number would be higher than the market cap of SOLG. BHP or someone will buy a controlling interest way cheaper and than decide what they want to do...... hold on to your share in the mean time....

AKgold.... I don't think that BHP would have bought 6.1% of SOLG if they wanted only Cascabel?? How would that work?? Would they buy all of SOLG and sell back other concessions??? Why wouldn't they just negotiate a deal to buy Cascabel outright??? The problem is that the only way to get Cascabel without bickering about price is by buying out the shares.... This happens way cheaper for them as shareholders all have different expectations on returns. Where NM knows the property is worth crazy amounts.... A large hedge fund or pension fund is happy making 30% on their initial investment.... the real value has no merits... they want to make their return and get out... no emotions... just the return that they get paid to produce.... Because of this BHP, Newcrest or other suitors will take the route of buying SOLG in it's entirety.... any side deal after that could be seen as being unfair to current shareholders...

Agreed... I'd think that there 78 million shares are worth a pretty penny at this point!!!

Cornerstones market cap in $167 000 000 CAD...... they own $50 000 000 worth of SOLG leaving their 15% valued at $117 00 000.... plus all their other concessions...... does this not seem very cheap???

The two statements that NM said in his presentation that really stuck with me ...

1. "WE HAD A 4 YEAR HEAD START IN ECUADOR"

1. "BHP NEVER EVEN CALLED US WHEN THE BOUGHT 6.1% OF THE SHARES'

Aside from all his other statements these 2 are extremely bullish to me.

Cornerstone's deal with SOLG is completely separate from the 78 million shares CGP acquired. CGP acquired these through a completely separate transaction than the agreement on 15% of the revenue stream from Cascabel. CGP's 15% stake in Cascabel is not shares in SOLG but a share of Cascabel alone. The 78 million shares of SOLG is equity and shares in SOLG in its entirety.

the one thing about the majors is they know how to take out companies on the cheap.... aggressive and ruthless... NM is aware and afraid of this outcome...

All this banter is distracting... personally I 100% agree with Schlemiel and think he is being quite positive and his points are extremely valid. Either way there is a buzz here. BHP wants in, Newcrest wants in and I'm sure others are on looking at this as in play. Like I said before this is not based on rumor but on the fact that BHP has just bought 6.1% of our company. They are not doing this to watch NM build out to production. NM is thrilled by their arrival as you can see by SOLG's many tweets...... we have maximum 6 months of owning this stock than it's gone........ JMHO GLTA DYOR

This is all gamesmanship by NM....... SOLG will never develop Cascabel... it will be sold this year... all a great big game of poker here.....

After owning a Nissan Leaf for just over a week..... I can honestly say it's over for the gas engine.... copper, copper, copper..... 185 lbs per car..... this is a tsunami that will be unstoppable.... VW just announced 22 EV's by 2022... I think this will happen faster than anyone is anticipating.. anyone have any research on expected copper demand over the the next 5 years??

Schlemiel... I am in complete agreement with you on debt stealing all our profits...the risks and costs associated with borrowing money for a mine in Ecuador would be very onerous. I really don't believe SOLG will ever come close to building out this mine... NM is just playing the FU game.

I agree the market hasn't yet digested this. BHP taking a 6% position does however wake up others. Taking this position off a distressed shareholder is a catalyst to things moving much faster. It creates a competitive situation that will in time force someones hand. This is real. Not a rumor. The market seems to like rumors much more. The rumors will start over the next while. These however may be followed up by real dealings. It is widely known that Cascabel has had many of the majors looking at it's vast potential. Sometimes a great deal changes your focus and direction in life... I believe this purchase has just done that. Be patient and enjoy the ride the big boys are on their way!!!

Given BHP's entry I would think NM will be travelling alot over the next few weeks. He has to know that the writing is on the wall and will be very motivated to rally any other interested parties to take a look at Cascabel before it's too late and goes too cheap.

Cornerstone issued 16m options this week at .215.... every time they do that is seems to sell off .... almost like the directors don't want it to look like they are getting the best deal... "the stock was lower afterwards"??? A bit of a conspiracy theory maybe... but I've watched it happen a whole bunch of times
