My gut feel was SOLG may be waiting for new GOVT mining statement and regulations which should be out in next 2 weeks. I just thought it odd that Ecuadorian minister said he originally expected it out March 1 but now expects it to be out within 2 weeks. I would think SOLG would wait to make sure any changes in policy would be accounted for in PEA. That was my gut feel as soon as I heard the minister say this.

Ecuador day highlights
- Govt to come out with some new improved mining regulations withing the next 2 weeks
- Govt to streamline permitting during Q2. March 8 there will be new online applications for some permits
- NM presented that PEA will be out very soon and be extremely detailed. More so than originally planned.
- NM's presentation was supposed to be Jason but NM did it instead. Very impressive with him emphasizing his team and how impressive they are. Also his detail about Ecuador's people benefiting from SOLG's presence.
- Room was 95% full.
- All in room quite bullish on Ecuador and it's buy in on foreign investment for their economy

My prediction of PEA is now down to one day??? Wtf... I thought I nailed it!!!

NM is presenting Tuesday at PDAC. I'd say Monday Tuesday may be release. Maybe releasing today was not done because CGP may be presenting on Sunday at Ecuador day. Trying to take a little wind out of CGP sails???

PDAC has an Ecuador day on Sunday and NM presents on Tuesday. I'm betting my gonads on the fact that the PEA and a updated resource estimate will be released ahead of NM's presentation on Tuesday. Hopefully I'm correct as life without my boys will be awful. Nothing to hold on to when it's cold out!!!

The Ecuadorian mining sector has become an important destination for miners and investors from around the world, due to its significant wealth creating potential and world class infrastructure. As part of the program, the Minister of Energy and Non Renewable Natural Resources and the ViceMinister of Mining for the Republic of Ecuador will present the country’s plans to establish mining as a pillar of the economy, including key objectives to ensure responsible and sustainable mining project development. Revisions to the permit granting process in order to increase exploration activity in Ecuador will also be discussed. Additional presentations will be delivered by delegates of companies currently active in Ecuador.

All are welcome. Registration is not required.

According to my presumably astute convictions we should be seeing the PEA within the next 48 hours. I do have a margin of error of one business day which could put us to Monday. However my spidey senses tell me that the next 48 hours shall be fruitful.

I don't expect PEA to do much immediately. It will however unleash a flurry of corporate activity that will end with Cascabel being either severed and sold or SOLG and CGP being taken out. Could however take 6 months??

I'd say it's all PDAC related. Getting the biggest bang they can by announcing just before March 5. That means some time next week or March 4-5. The morning before NM's presentation could be a great way to get atteintion. JMHO

Obviously Newcrest has a game plan they are executing. CGP seems to be a part of it!!

Cookie... no one is really selling here IMO. This is all smoke and mirrors trying to establish levels for corporate activity and nothing more. Also trying to suck retail into selling. It just smells dirty to me.

These are obviously prearranged trades. I really think all these trades should be documented and made public as to who the counter parties are if there is any type of corporate actions. Maybe a 3 month- 6 month view on who buyers and sellers are. The manipulation and lack of oversight of public markets by insiders and dealers is really a stain on the system and unfair to retail investors.

Interesting volume is so high with CAN/US being closed... I'd say news is due here. I'd love to know who's selling as I find there is some manipulation here that is probably a little suspect.

June is also the month that I believe Newcrest is free of their shackles and can initiate their own attempt at CGP. GLTA

Mattjames. I'm in total agreement but think that CGP will be sorted out by a major after PEA is disclosed. It may take SOLG actually beginning the process by initiating their offer to CGP shareholders to start the whole process. I'd look at June as a date for CGP getting bought out by someone.

Next 2 weeks I woud think PEA and updated drilling results should be released. I really dont think that anything but corporate activity will move us forward at that point. GLTA
