Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I've been a holder of CGP and Solg for over 10 years. With all the properties and personnel you would think they would have created some type of cash flow model that would make the self sufficient over time. Very disturbing that we seem to always be in this position.
I would have to say that I have never bought into SOLG ever going to production on Cascabel. The only way they go to production is by selling Cascabel and using the proceeds to develop other tenements that are in the pipeline. Cascabel needs to move forward both for Solg, Ecuador and all us shareholders. The next CEO will do what it takes to move this process forward and bring some long needed value to many of us who have really been hurt by staying in this company with so little upside for a ridiculous number of years. I really hope this is our time and this is our dealmaker. GLTA
Pretty significant investment. He's been in this for a long time. Hopefully this means something for all of us
SOLG halted waiting news!!!
It's really unfathomable that SOLG is still around. Once this Goldman prediction starts to sink in and Copper breaks through to the next level with no retreat we will be off to the races. I don't believe we will go to production but we have to have that in out arsenal if the right deal dosnt come through
Glta
It's looking like Lasso will be the next President
RNS is clear, concise, informative and the timing before election is perfect. Outlining the thought process of our new approach to PFS is genius. Nice to see that our new CEO understands that communication with shareholders is an important factor in marketing of the SP. Very happy JMHO
red. TMX is irrelevant until its suddenly not. That day will hopefully come sooner than later
Well said Monte. The response to an obviously negative vote for NM and his future made some look ridiculous with their almost blind take. Your take is exactly how I feel. Thank you.
Quady, If I remember reading how sure you were that NM was going to lead us into the future!!! It's true .... many people on this thread are ridiculous!!!
NM leaving will mean great things for us all. I'm so pumped as our SP is absolutely no acceptable. Irwin speaks the truth
You would think Basel III will be extremely bullish for Gold. I can only see upside on gold price
Copper surges and we still sit and wait at this ridiculous SP. I've always said that our SP is not based on Coppers price or any other fundamentals. The only thing that moves us upward is a Corporate event. I believe apres March, with NM gone, we will get taken out fairly quickly. I'm so sick of waiting for something every 3 months. Lets hope the next leader is a deal maker. GLTA
After watching price action today on both CGP and SOLG I'd say the delayed PFS is because they realize it's a futile undertaking. This will be long gone before any PFS is even close to being completed.
The thought of trying to develop the mine is absolute stupidity. This is like a kid in a candy store who wants everything. I have always said SOLG will get taken out and thats the play. The only thing this RNS changes is the head fake. Hopefully this puts us on the right track of being an explorer.
Colonol. Here is a theory. Mather leaves SOLG, no longer making him an insider, and turns around and puts together a private consortium that tries to take SOLG private. Either way he gets SOLG or someone else steps in and his shares quadruple. There is more to the NM story than we know. Should be exciting
I think Q is still waiting on the French translation of the CGP documents. "French is a difficult language" Q thinks to himself
This is also a FU to NM .. You no longer run the place mate.... CGP are our partner
this move downward in SP feels like something is being priced down here... Maybe a raise or a massive block trade??
I really don't think SOLG will be anything but an explorer. Piecing out their holdings is the way to go and taking an NSR along the way would be a quite smart for cash flow purposes. Why take the risks of trying to be a miner when your good at exploring. NM has retired because of this realization. The world will need copper in the next few years. Getting Apala producing will not only benefit shareholders but also a Country that is in desperate need of revenues.
