Good to see it continuing to consolidate around that 1.39 level in anticipation of upcoming news, feels like a solid floor under the price here. Time will tell.

Definitely a bit less volatile and establishing a firm base around that 1.39 level. It bodes well for a solid move up from here. Time will tell but looks like a good entry point so picked some up and will hold for the gold!

There's a gap to fill back at 2.84 after yesterday's jump so we might see that filled before it takes off

then the deal would be worth 12.23p per I3E share

Each I3E share = 10.43 + dividend + (GTE/207)

AFAIK it will fall/rise according to the price of the GTE shares when the deal completes. So for every I3E share held you get:

10.42+dividend+(GTEsp/207)

GTE shares make up about 22% of the offer so it does make a difference.

GTE hit a low of US $4.7 earlier this year.

If they fall back to that level then the deal looks more like 12.5p a share... just about the current trading price!

No, a CFD is a derivative and no buying or selling of the underlying asset is involved in the transaction so it doesn't affect the share price.

It's a great company imo. I don't really have any huge expectations for the sp, although it looks quite undervalued, but in any case I'm happy to just hold it as a proxy for gold.
