In fairness to CS (I don’t say that very often) he did say that any formal binding offers would be put to the share holders. So you can probably at best consider them to be non formal discussions around price, certainly based on that comment they weren’t formal binding offers.

I think the point being made was that they cannot release any news during the webinar that should be subject to a regulatory RNS, releasing news during the webinar would class as insider trading.

@GrandQ, I’m inclined to vote no to the fund raise, willing to listen to what is said tomorrow, but my thinking this has to come to an end, a fund raise will just let it drag on, knowing that they only have one years funding from the loan might focus their minds to negotiating a sensible ( under the circumstances) deal.

Looking at this from a purely EUA prospective. The government has today announced a further £2.3 bil loan to Ukraine with the repayments to be made from interest from Russian assets, the EU has recently done the same, G7 countries also intend the same. Clearly there no expectation that those assets will be returned or sanctions lifted anytime soon. EUA could need funding for several years.
