Yesterdays trades listed as buys.
At 10.05 1.88p was paid, but from then onwards to 12.44 the price drops even though listed as sales, even though they are decent purchases. The buy price jumps
to 1.95p after which there is a variation. Yes they could be all buys as listed but am a bit wary about it all.
Not been very well of late, this feeling of unwell has dragged on and off since the first snow in December. The last month has seen me quite poorly but there is now an improvement. My son has come up and cleaned the place properly as just using the hoover leaves me very breathless. Must inproofe and also had a £604 bill from the vet for my cat, which i do not begrudge .
O posting that it looks like I may have spoken to early with a large sale from some one just wanting out. So long as others do not follow this example we can still see this as the low point, But then what do I know, except at my age I have seen the unexpected happen over and over again, both ways. I am still hoping this is the low point to sell at 1.8p.
we appear to have reached a base point, well for this session anyway. So long as no more buyers appear any one buying now should see a profit on the purchase. Once a few buyers establish themselves the SP should start to rise slightly, then if the sellers stay away we should see 2p as the base, above this we probably will get a few sellers, even those who bought in at the base. If 2p can be sustained then another slight rise to 2.25p may establish a new base, but only if buyers and sellers match. There will be pressure from those wishing to get out and we may get more selling than buying, which could unsettle the price slightly giving another opportunity to buy. From then on it will get a bit ropy as there will be people still wanting out, plus profit takers from the early buying at under / around 2p. So long as there are still buyers we can hold firm and maybe graduate upwards. But with out any substantial news it will be slow and falteringly nervous place to be, any large trades either way will dominate the situation. 3p will be obtainable so long as those wishing to sell hold fire for a higher price. At any rate we seem to have reached the low point and buying at this price may well show a profit. Just hope there are not sellers willing to get out at any price. those who bought in at 2 - 2.7 p may be the deciding factor, will they hold fire and look for a profit or just say lets get our money back while we can. If they do we may well see a small return to 2p until the sellers stop and buyers out number them. A bit cat and mouse.
Does this correspondence to me,below, help give proof I actually exist, to those silly billies who doubt my existence.
Up out of my bed at this unearthly hour as I went to bed at 7pm owing to my illness.
Will watch "the universe explained" series for an hour then go back to bye byes

Did these people who took out their mortgage at a rate of about 3% not even consider let alone realise that these rates would rise in years to come. About 1-2 years of marriage we moved to Fazeley in a large semi but later the interest rates rose to 15%. We would have been overjoyed at paying 5 or 6 % at that time. In the end we had to downsize and buy a smaller place with no mortgage. Food took 33% of our income along with 33% for mortgage when we moved to Torquay. People do not realise how well off they are, in comparison to years ago. A few years ago I saw a lady on TV complaining about costs and she said " how the hell can i pay for my children's schooling" "Our three holidays a year" This was an extreme statement but there were similar and there are now. These days people pay first for what they want NOT what they need, A roof over their head, Food and their fixed outgoings, such as council tax water rates , mortgage etc.
I give to the local food bank but i get very upset seeing people go there with ***s hanging from their mouth. Stop the smoking and you will not require help from the rest of the community. Alcohol is another they put first. And of course the evil drugs that ruin peoples lives. (I do have an answer to stopping drugs but people say it is far to extreme, but adm)
I have first hand experience of people buying what they want first then if anything is left they pay part of their other essential bill, because I have a grandson who does just this. I bailed him out a number of times, then he and his partner won £30k and did repay £7k to me but is now in financial trouble again. He no longer asks me for money, he still owes his Mom who is very very disabled around £1k. I will give his mom, my daughter, that money. These people treat the rest of us like dirt and think what they want is an essential, not a luxury. OK I come from a different time, but it should still reflect those standards on present day, because it works. Food actually is quite cheap in comparison.
We had a fruit and veg shop about 45 years ago and bananas then cost 30p a pound, what are they now 35P. A friend of mine once said about me that I was mean, another pipped up and said "no he is not mean just very careful" Property prices are ridiculous, back in 1965 I bought a 3 bedroom semi in Sheldon B.ham for £2650 on a wage of £900 pa, three times my income.
Now days with ORDINARY people earning £25k pa you should be paying around£80k for a semi.
What has caused the house price rise? Wages went up a lot, giving people more money to spend and they pushed the house prices up, making them no better off. But Women started to go out to work, especially married ladies, children need their mother not a child care place, instead of looking after the children, their money contributed to the rise in property enormously, doubling the spare income doubled the house prices so in the end all women HAD to go to work to pay for a property. No one was bett
Apologies but do NOT use tube or Facebook etc, although I do have an account at Facebook and Twitter. Looked at Twitter but no idea how to use it, to be honest I do not have the time to "waste" on them. Unfortunately I have been quite unwell since last December something like influenza which has cumulated to its high yesterday, nurse was in again, the cough is finally retreating. But you have to fight these things even if it means resting more, something that does not come easy to me. About 9-10 years ago was i was laid up with a very serious chest infection and relatives, neighbours and friends were thinking about my funeral, however they failed to tell me about a funeral so i came out of it after 15 weeks
The reason I stopped watching England and the Blues was that I was running betting offices from 1965, took a holiday to watch the World cup final and after a break of a few years later worked on racecourses as a clerk, tic tac, and floorman, which is watching prices, putting money on horses with other bookmakers when your firm was over committed. Even represented a firm on the rails. My English Grandfather lived in cattle (pronounced katel) Rd Small heath Birmingham and was involved with illegal gambling in the 1920s , as shown in the peaky blinders series. As a kid he used to use old sheets of metal to slide down the waste tip which later became the Tilton Rd end when St Andrews was built and attended the opening game on boxing day against Middlesboro. While my Irish Grandfather was a staunch IRA supporter in the 1920s and involved in getting Eire set up. England should have offered Ireland their own government and become part of the Commonwealth like Canada, Australia etc. it would have been jumped at by the Irish and it would have remained British, as should have been done with America when they became independent.
At my age you tend to look back and see mistakes made or chances missed. But that is what life is about.
A good few Seed buyers yesterday, yet again some late sellers.
My eyes are aching so must stop.
A good 1st half performance, pity that 3rd chance was missed. It was pretty certain the Italians would come out fighting and their early goal could have led to more but the defence played well. Silly yellow cards in second half.
Regards record goal scoring these days, it should show percentage of goals scored per game played. Kane however would still be king I think.
The best English side I have seen was around 1962-4 and was in my opinion better than the 1966 side. It was a shame Greaves missed the final. I used to go to all internationals from the late 1950s, watching them tot up goals against Scotland and Mexico was a delight. I bought a season ticket for the 1966 world cup which gave me access to games at, if my memory is correct, Goodison Park, Hillsborough, one semi final and the final. Ironically the Final was the last England's game I attended, owing to work commitments and marriage. However both my wife and myself , once I was not working on Saturdays, had season tickets at St Andrews and went to most away games, when sometimes only a few visiting supporters travelled unlike today. Why are visiting supporters put behind the goal, the worse viewing place. Older fans do not go to away games because of people NOT sitting in their seat. Meaning the elderly also have to stand. A section of the stands on the side should be allocated to those who want them,
saying I do not exist, I and my late wife have been the Halkirk United FC committee since 2008, I also ran the players registrations for the clubs in the league until my wife got too ill and I was having to look after her.
Both my late wife and my self are Hon. Presidents.
Have you really nothing better to do? While having a go at me it stops you from having a go at someone who might get upset by your stupidity.
that if something drastic is not done we "could" face with what cash we have, being spent on day to day expenses as well as wages and once the Leap money is exhausted a sale of the best of the rest of our portfolio could follow, until everything has gone. This is the most extreme forecast but unless they sort the portfolio out, as well as the BOD, we have to face that this is a possibility.
The reason why we have sellers is because they have NO faith in the company. Buyers are taking a gamble that they will double their investment. As for those with an average of over 4p, they do face a long and difficult wait to get there money back.
Good to see buyers in again to day, hopefully sellers will not follow. I do fear however we will always have sellers as the price increases, an increase will attract more sellers if they can get their money back and a profit if they bought in at 2p thus making any big increase very slow indeed.
If I had a big win on the premium bonds ( I am talking six figures) I would invest a large amount at under 2p, but with monthly wins of up to £1500 that money will go back in to bonds until I have exhausted every member of my family holding bonds for me at their maximum amount allowed. This will enable me to buy a better place in S Devon, once this is sold and as money comes in I can reduce the price of the bungalow.
I started this at 8.30am but with the plumbers coming to do the annual maintenance and followed by the district nurse, as I am not to well. So we are now at 11.09am. No more buyers since 9.37, which is a shame.
Got posted to early, criticised was being corrected when the screen went blank then returned with it posted
Oh yes how do you "scan" these rectangle black and white blocks in newspapers and on GOV sites. You all are younger than me and may understand this technology. I have no young children to help me!!!!!!!
Work!! I am 80 disabled and a widower. duckduck sounds unlikely to me. Assume LSE just have placed it as an advert, as no other constructive answer has been posted. The same as when I asked every one "what you would do with seed if you were put in the position to run it" Every one grumbles, but only myself gave an answer. It was completely ignored and no one even crisised what I said
there were buyers. But still surprised that there are now still sellers with so many buyers. You would think they would have held up and let the price rise. However if there are sellers at under 2p how many will there be as the price rices, if there are any left!!!!!
