Either a very high value sale or an IPO for Leap, WE DO NOT MIND so long as it brings us a decent profit of at least 80% to our stake.

As most of you realise, about half of the trades will have been buys today following what we were quoted for test buys and sales.

Their posts are quite interesting as well as informative and we appreciate the research some of you all have made over the last 6 or so years.
As we have said previously that while most of us are worrying about Leap and its disposal, with good reason, we all should be aware of the other holdings in the portfolio. It is more than possible that we are making very decent gains in this "cannabis" sector. Once investors take note we should see the SP rise with new investors who are interested in this sector. Ed and company may just have been adding wisely to the portfolio, plus along with other similar companies in line for SEED to take a position in them, once finance is available, probably from the returns from Leap which may also be making big strides in its value.
Those who are only waiting for Leap to be disposed of may decide to hang on in.
a) Because the whole portfolio may make a big bounce upwards
and
b) The SP MAY NOT fly north in relation to its NAV once Leap is sold owing to the quantity of people wishing to sell their stake in Seed. We are only suggesting what the position MAY be once Leap is disposed of.
If the NAV is around 22p, For those wishing to sell at 19p you have to find buyers wo will pay 19.5p for Seed.
Otherwise the SP may well hang around 12p to get buyers.
We only wish to calm some of you down who are anticipating getting the top teens for their stock once Leap is disposed of. We may all have to wait a long time until Seed is trading just below its NAV.
Then of course on the other side we may get plenty of investors wishing to buy in to SEED which would push the SP up. to its NAV or even a premium.
None of us know what will happen, but have to look at all possibilities.

So to get to the 50p per share NAV they talked about 12 months or so ago Leaps value would be just below £200m?
Leap could be between £50m and £100m but we think 40-50ml is more likely, which would satisfy us, anything above would be a really good bonus.

Do not worry about what others say about your posts, just continue and ignore any adverse comments.

We did say a few weeks ago that we were invested in the whole portfolio not just Leap. It is a portfolio in a sector that could go up many 100% of times. If you can understand what we are thinking.

Just goes to show how underpriced we are. Needs a newspaper to pick it up in their financial section.

Nice to see a NEW institutional investor in Eurox, perhaps one will look at Seed when its value has increased. Not sure about the difference in value of the two. Regret not able to check details myself.

Think you may have misread Longlad, we wrote buy stock not buy back stock. Yes the whole BOD should be buying.

Fail to understand why Ed does not buy stock at this price, it puts people off as they wonder why he does not invest.

A few weeks ago I was diagnosed as suffering from extreme exhaustion and only recently did I realise just how bad I was. Sorted the capitals out, I think.
DVLA had me go for a medical with my doctor last week who had me see Specsavers to check my eyes and passed ok, thank goodness.
What is it about Seed that has the majority of trades at or before lunch.

BEEN QUOTED 6.67 TO BUY, SO LOOKS LIKE THOSE "SALES" ARE IN FACT BUYS

I do agree and every one tells me the same, We have always rose before 7am, although I am now lazy and often listen to the news before I get out of bed. I was up earlier to day as at the start of the month sees us sending donations to various charities, so I wrote cheques out for those due. This month Sightsavers plus one of our animal charities benefits.
I still wonder when seeing holders selling one or two hundred thousand Seed shares, as they have done today, they must be desperate for cash.
Bought premium bonds yesterday to stop me adding to Seed but we will not be able to buy many more as the limits are reached by the good lady and I am nearly there. Back to buying I.T.s is what we will do then.
Be nice to each other, it makes you feel good being kind.

That was a generalisation and meant as you said a large investor. It was done in a rush.

Whilst we eventually would like to see Leap disposed of, we do feel that is continually gaining in value, according to what we read in the posts on here, all of which is to our long term benefit. Unfortunately we all are naturally disappointed that this value is NOT related to the SP, probably if its value was shown in the SP we would not be so keen to dispose of it, but watch it continue to rise in value.
We need to see large institutions etc. take a stake in Leap.

A few months ago someone said, we will get news soon about Leap with it floating in 1st quarter etc etc etc.

Where on earth do they all come from? you would have thought they would have popped their head up yesterday. Why did they not hold fire to let more buyers appear and get a better price, but no they are just that desperate to get out. Just how deep is this pit which contains investors who, pretty certainly, are selling at a loss? Just how many investors are there just being patient, not a lot by the look of it. Did not expect many to be selling at under 5p, under 6p seemed unbelievable a few weeks ago. For those looking to see the SP at 11p+ to get their investment back it looks almost impossible for a very very long time I am sad to say. I now doubt, with regret, that the disposal of Leap will see the SP jump to middle teens as the MMs know the sellers will dominate. Once Leap goes the MMs I fear will hardly push the SP up until buyers arrive thinking that with a NAV of say 22p it makes a 7p SP look cheap. For every new buyer there will be two selling, especially at 7-9p with all those who bought at 5p taking their profit, let alone those who paid 7p or less getting out even. We need investment houses to come in and help us out which looks very unlikely. In the end most of us will sit here for a long time with the SP hovering around our investment level once Leap goes. The only other way out is Seed selling everything up and distributing the returns to us brave ones who hung around. Why would the BOD do that with a regular annual income.
Ah well we can hope there is a surprise in store for us, stranger things happen.

Why do trades nearly always stop at around 2pm lately?

How many times have you all been told, we have NEVER NEVER EVER sold in the hope of buying back cheaper. About four years ago we sold a couple of hundred thousand of FFWD to buy back a lot more immediately in to our ISAs. just for tax benefits with luck, when it does shoot up.
Not only in SEED but we have not sold ANY stock in the hope of buying back cheaper, unlike some on here I suspect have done. But there was nothing wrong with them doing that, they took the chance of losing out if there weas big breaking news while not holding the stock. Some on here only seem to read what they want to.
The way some of you have been rude to each other over the last 5, probably 5+ years now leaves us dumbstruck. We usually tell you when we buy, which we did last week to add to our ISAs. When we do sell we will also inform you. We, sorry now unfortunately just me at the moment, do not have the time even to check on our portfolio of about 60-70 holdings, mainly I.Ts. let alone trade stock.
The idea of this area is to pass on information and comment on the stock. Most of us have deviated a little but most of us are not rude or try to make falsehoods up. It is no wonder some have given up on the board, or lost patience, something we have pushed for for a long time, or possible simply sold up.
