I said perhaps an institutional investor may get interested a few months ago, but was told on here that Seed is to small for one.

Now that is good.
Actually we have had a sneaking feeling for ages the BOD may in fact know what they are doing.
Why SELL leap when you know it may well double or treble in value in the fairly near future. If they sold / IPO Leap last year for X and we see it is now worth x*3 we would be moaning.
Any opinions on this?

Except for that 544k sell trade buys have exceeded sales.

Has he sold up and gone? or was he shareless after selling a long time ago after trying to get us to buy so he got a better price for his holding, then just stayed to be rude? which ever, better he has gone. Did some one say / indicate he had been banned by LSE.

We bought a few at 4.9p but our average is 6.9. Wondering if we should add some more at 4.8p or are we throwing good money away, Its that or just top up our premium bonds to their maximum. At least they usually bring in 3 or more prizes each month.

No chance of that, I hope, its only light comment. After all there are only a few sellers, do wonder however what their reasons are for selling, wish we had to fill in a form / questionnaire (as we seem to do for everything else) to give our reasons why we buy or sell. It would be very illuminating.
Sent off our council elections ballot paper left the SNP blank while we did give preference to the other 5 standing, with the Conservative put in first place. In general elections we do vote for the person most likely to beat the SNP. That wicked witch of the north is upsetting many more now, hopefully she will continue doing so.

YET THEY KEEP SELLING!! Perhaps they do not know what value there is in Seed.

Reckon they have put them in to an ISA in anticipation of a big profit to avoid tax.

Interesting post, I have no knowledge of this "man made" food, just been in Tesco and saw BACON with no meat content. Sorry but rather have real foods. However this type of market may well be worth investing in for Seed, got to go with the flow, regretfully.

You are right about going to independent butchers as Tesco along with Lidle's beef reminded us of the Argentinean beef we had in the 50s which was old cattle. Cannot remember when I last bought beef. So I stick to pork and chicken and lamb when it is on offer or being knocked out cheap, I do buy free range eggs. Unfortunately I do not have the time to visit butchers any more owing to my commitments at home. I do miss beef dripping with jelly though.
More importantly it is nice to see you all posting your thoughts on and information on Seed without being rude to each other.
Except for his renumeration which appears to be excessive, it is difficult to be sure whether Ed and BOD are doing a good job or not. The growth of the companies in the portfolio is probably what we should judge them on. As for the SP they have to convince investors NOT to sell just to get their money back and become long term holders. Until people stop selling the SP may remain stagnant. A good return from Leap hopefully will attract new investors and stop the selling to a degree. Shame not to see the continuation of blue this morning.

Nice to see the rise, lets hope people do not start selling, otherwise the rise will grind to a halt.
Once you get to 6p, any new investors who paid under 5p will be wondering whether to take a profit, unless those buyers at 4.9p, like us, were were existing holders who were averaging down. At 7p+ a lot will be at the point that they have their money back and will no doubt "get out" Only time will tell.
Clean Food Group, were did they come from regards Seed? I must have missed something. Looked at their web site and read what they do and to be honest still do not know what they do.
"Clean Food Group consolidates, simplifies and accelerates the process of bringing cell cultured food products to market" Are they taking cells from food to create more food?
Sorry but I am to old for this, I still think the taste of beef went down once they breed cattle with little fat.
