It stops people buying but they say you can sell it through those dealers. However as you say, on rereading your comment it stops people who deal through them from trading, but these traders will go to another dealer if they think they can make money.
If your dealer does not let you buy Seed, my guess is most people will not bother opening another account just to buy some Seed, even if it fly's, as by the time they open another account it will be at the top of its price range. Not being able to buy Seed is not helping the SP, after all HL are a largish dealer and there may be others. Think it is all wrong not to deal in some stocks. Hope they miss a lot of business once the Leap news comes out.
We use IWEB (Halifax) They do charge to open an account, but then it is only £5 per trade, which soon repays the £35 signing on charge as most charge at least £10 per trade.
Still a strong buy.
Had to pay the funeral cost and am awaiting the solicitors account, plus the income has dropped over 40% following Jeannette's death, so have had to draw the buying in.
As for when will Leap be disposed off (Re Bunsunburner 123) it will not be longer than we have been waiting for. I certainly think it will be this yearish.
Take care all.
Still unsure why more people are not looking to buy in to Seed with Leap on so many sites. Usually when a company is looking to be doing well every one is looking to get a slice. So why are they not buying in to Seed to get a bit of Leap. The only reason I can see is they do not like to get in to Seed. Reckon if it was quoted its price would fly. So that is why i think they should keep a part of leap in the portfolio in case it does fly. But then what do I know?
Would any of you buy in to Leap if it is floated?
Probably my age but do not like crypto, why have it when there are so many good currencies about. Is it to help illegal operations, drugs I was thinking of.
I hate drugs and have a way of stopping most of it, but no one agrees with me.
As for Leaps involvement, doubt they would do anything that is not right. They have too much to loose.
I do want to see them making a decent profit, I know some companies float when making a loss and people buy for the future, it is just that I like to see some returns from an investment. Old fashioned idea? perhaps. Then I am old fashioned and you all will get to that stage eventually.
Seed must really be a buy buy buy at this price, or does stupidity come along with old age. I feel that I have a better chance of seeing Seed go to 12p rather than 1p.
Take care all, nice to see some one apologise on here that shows good grace.
Please do not be rude to each other, just put your point forward. Now think I may have said this before, and before and before.
Still think we will see Leap disposed of this year. Wake up one day and find it has been sold for a good price or is about to float, sooner rather than later.
Take care all.
JK think you will make a profit and leave some in Seed for the future of health etc.
ICB888 You may not be far off.
Former FD You may have a point, but if he makes money will our investment not also gain.
Not happy with the BOD, but they may just come out smiling yet.
Just recovering from a fall and nasty head wound, they are investigating if I have a brain or not.

Agree, it is water off a ducks back to me. Hold far to many shares to be fair, but still can see a decent profit eventually and am holding long term, even after Leap as the other holdings could also fly in the future.
What do you mean by Longlad has OD acc.
My account is with London South East, think you may be losing the plot. We all have our account via LS East surely, how else would we post on here? How can Longlad have their account via me?
10 times more posts (so far) than trades. Instead of posting either sell or buy subject to what you think the future is.
am still holding a large amount, unfortunately.
Do think we will get a profit in the near future. Lets hope the statement in the results that Leap will be disposed of in 2022 is correct.
Seed will still be worth holding in a small amount to balance a portfolio, after all the cannabis will grow along with others held.
Am I too optimistic? hope not.
Nothing to comment on so you start having a go at each other again. Yes it is frustrating seeing the price drop and the BOD keeping mumm. They really should be giving the shareholders some guidance along with the normal results blurb.
Perhaps it is the low volume that is keeping it low, one spark of news will see it back in the 6p plus range. But when?
Play nice.
To be fair people should not be using credit for gambling. Deposit money with your bookmakers is the reasonable way to do it.
Do not think I have had a bet since leaving the industry. However I have considered using the sites that allow you to lay bets. I used to lay odds on favourites when on the tracks.
You were busy posting over the weekend, which of late was unusual, were you all on the way to Dover and did so to pass the time?
In the report we did see they stated Leap would be disposed of in 2022 and it would not surprise me to see a RNS appear one morning sooner than later informing us of its intended disposal. A private sale is a possibility unfortunately, but hopefully at the correct price rather than a giveaway price. An IPO in late September is more likely in my mind. You will note I did not specify which year!!!
Still like to see us renamed (again) indicating we are a health IT with us holding some small quoted health stocks whose price has receded far too much, using the money from the Leap IPO. With some quoted firms we may attract more investors.
When do the options that some board members hold expire? as that may give us another clue as to when disposal is coming.
