On a worldwide basis, demand for fossil fuels currently remains impervious to environmental considerations. In all logic, therefore, as supply diminishes, the shares of fossil fuel companies should be a major beneficiary of the environmentalists.
I do wonder if, over time, oil in place may not attract a higher relative valuation.
