Alba's stake in GROC gained £530k today.

Makes the float about 60% of 279.27m shares or about 168m shares, so 5.1m volume is about 3% of the float.

And the float is significantly less than that given Alba holds 25.34%. At 5.1m, volume is now about 2% of the float.

Volume is improving, 2.1m now.

Note there is positive news from GROC this morning, with the appointment of a Technical Lead for the AAM processing plant project (see the GROC board).

If and when Alba are successful at Clogau, the re-rate can begin in earnest as the prospect of positive cash flow will remove the share price discount caused by the expectation of further placings.

Does it make sense for GROC to constitute such a large percentage of Alba's market cap given that Alba possesses 25.34% of GROC but 100% of Clogau, Gwynfynydd and the Dolgellau Gold field?

The economics of Clogau look so much better today than even a year ago with spot gold at $4,192.00, £3,150.50.
