Developments at BB and HH should give rise to 1 or more announcements in the near(ish) future, although that for HH has recently put back a little.

They have breached their loan obligations but have not defaulted, as Trafigura have clearly evidenced by supporting the ongoing workover of 2 of Saltfleetby's wells.

HHDL is the operator at HH, NOT UKOG.

UKOG has said that "... the produced volumes to date (at HH) represent less than a few percent of the assessed oil in

place" and that "the Company regards the remaining untapped recoverable resource perspective as potentially significant.

Imho, it is in the interest of both UKOG and Surrey CC for production to resume at HH.

So how can UKOG have control of the board?"

The lender alone can declare ANGS to be in default.

If you really were the lender, how would you proceed in order to recover your loan?

In ALBA's case, the negativity simply reflects the current share share, Alba's interests apart from GROC being valued at £1.11m.

In the 17th century, pins were hand-made and valuable so Clogau isn't even valued at today's equivalent of pin money.

... the first blast has now been successfully completed. After a brief hiatus over the Christmas period, the blasting and bulk sampling programme is expected to resume from early January onwards.

Next steps:

Controlled underground blasting has begun and will continue into the new year. The objective is to collect a substantial bulk sample to assess the gold grade within the first 20 m horizontal development, which is expected to intersect the projected payshoot extension defined in Alba’s earlier exploration drilling programmes ... The share price performance has been disappointing, there is no disputing that.

But my enthusiasm is not isolated: for the first time, Alba itself has spoken of a "new chapter being written for Clogau" and never before has scotalba cited a leading Clogau expert indicating that there may be a significant find on the horizon.

The stock has suffered from costly delays: while bats are protected and water is extracted, overheads still have to be paid. These delays have meant dilution.

If Alba finds gold in any kind of a commercial quantity, the stock performance could swing sharply in the opposite direction, as the market concludes that, having made an initial find and shown that the gold is there, Alba is likely to follow up by making further finds.

The share price is very low. Another placing will come along at some stage. But, imho, the risk/reward ratio at this price level is skewed heavily in favour of reward.

If ALBA were to make a significant find now, who knows to what level the share price might rise?

Alba has never been so close to attaining its target at Clogau.

Because of the spot price of gold and the Clogau premium, there is no need for it to find bonanza grades of gold although the history of the mine indicates this to be quite possible.

GROC is progressing very well and is grossly undervalued.

3/ if ALBA can succeed in its Llechfraith target, then behind that lies the potential of its other targets at Clogau and, more widely, in the Dolgellau gold field.

The impact on the share price could be BIG.

1/ In the case of a significant commercial find, Alba would cease to be a pre-revenue concern and fears of continuing dilution for working capital purposes would be put to rest;

2/ Alba management would be thought of as a "winning team" and admired for their persistence in the face of numerous difficulties (imho, GROC is already a "win" but Clogau would really confirm it).
