Putting aside the personal squabbles for a moment:

remain very bullish on ANGS because, as I've mentioned many times before, consider first gas at Saltfleetby to be simply a first (admittedly, key) step on the path to creating a company of some size (say, possibly, a big small cap).
First sidetrack to follow, more sidetracks next year, work to extend the lifetime of the field and to shift resources into reserves, Brockham, Lidsey, Balcombe (if the appeal goes their way), geothermal, cash with which to finance acquisitions, a better-rated share with which to finance acquisitions, ...

All of that makes ANGS a strong buy in my opinion.

If yo have averaged down all the way from the Brockham days you must be over exposed here now then from what you say?

Nope, WG818, I am above water. As I've explained several times in the past, I dipped my toes in just before the Brockham RNS of 28/06/19 and have had lots of time (more than I anticipated!) in which to bring down my average since.

If you have suffered a disproportionate loss for your portfolio, then that is your fault, yes, because it means you were over-exposed to this one particular stock.

We all make losses from time to time, they are an inevitable part of investing in the equity market.

The trick is to ensure that no loss suffered is of a size to cause serious problems.

If such a loss is incurred, that is the responsibility of the investor not of the company in which he/she invested.

Your position is not one based on the market. Instead of looking at where Angus stands today and at its future prospects, your thinking is determined by a loss you made several years ago.

From a market point of view, imho, your position makes no sense at all.

Because, according to yourself and your constantly negative stance, if it's not worth selling today it will be worth selling even less tomorrow.

But approximately 2 of those 4 times relate to the doubling of the interest in Saltfleetby so, adjusting for Saltfleetby, the increase in the number of issued shares is half what it appears to be.
