The market is what it is, Angus management, PIs, market-makers are all in the same boat, they can't change the market, all they can do is live with, and adapt to, it.

But Angus is well-placed. They have achieved what they set out to do at Saltfleetby, their credibility is established, they have become a serious, cash-generating player.

In their management team, they have an interesting mix of skills and experience combining oil and gas "pedigree" (in GL's word) and financial expertise.

We shall see but the ambition is most certainly there.

Leaves them vulnerable to an opportunistic bid.

And, on the other side, reduces the possibility of share-financed acquisitions on their part, which will need to rely more on cash and debt.
