For those curious about the actual producible reserves at SLBY since it has been noted on lse via Singhie as potentially questionable.
SLBY has a long history of flow performance, pressure decline over time and related flow rates.
Dry gas recovery is generally far higher than more typical oil reservoirs, especially when there are good fractured elements within the field, giving added permeability.
This also means that you do not need to pepper the field with wells to achieve optimum drainage.
The decline & pressure performance should quiet easily enable a fairly accurate remaining producible reserves estimate.
If anything, it is likely to be higher for SLBY based on the infield production facilities and the ability to add a booster compressor later to counter reservoir pressure decline Vs production rates.
Yes it is a depleting field, but highly likely the remaining reserves estimate is achievable, if not improved.
