Improvements to process design, notably surrounding onsite production of nitrogen and de-ionised water, have resulted in:

o relatively modest (~6 per cent) overall increase in Capex from US$321M to US$340M (AACE Class 4 Estimate);

o significant (~18 per cent) decrease in Opex from US$2,211 to US$1,872 per tonne of coated spherical purified graphite ("CSPG"); and

o an overall ~14 per cent increase in after-tax NPV8 for anode plant from US$545M to US$621M and increase in IRR from 25.3% to 26.5%.

Some of that pressure has been relieved today with the reimbursement of the outstanding balance of the convertible loan.

Could SS open up the capital of UKEn to an outside investor, such as an infrastructure fund or a bank specialising in infrastructure finance?

1/ it would further enhance the credibility of the project;

2/ the buy-in price would provide a guide as to the current value of the project.

It is clearly a positive that the forced sellers who were RiverFort/YA have been reimbursed.

But it has come at considerable cost in terms of the number of new shares issued.

I would like to have seen management participate in the placing.
